I guess I'm supposed to be hurt by that? Sorry, I'm not. Perhaps you don't understand that this is indeed an open forum and one doesn't have to be a member to read everything that's going on.
I can't believe there are adults throwing temper tantrums over this...
Dude, WTF does my join date have to do with anything ? You have zero idea of my connections or knowledge and frankly, look back about a 45 minutes and see who was right?
Resting your hopes on leaks is silly and all there has been to this point is leaks. Frankly all there is as of now is leaks...
My point is, none of that has been officially released. You are upset because someone leaked a thing that was very wrong, twice. Thats not Ford's fault. There may be other things here that are Ford's fault - they have plenty of time to actually screw this up.
The biggest screw up of all would...
It's a "2024" relax... Ford will have the first few out top dealers end of August, best case. They will deliver on the promise of "Summer / Mid 2023" and hype it for spring / summer 2024.
It is entirely possible that “in transit” could mean from another dealer, so I could be completely wrong.
That said, in the northeast there is a significant number of brand new 2022s remaining at dealers.
I'll also add, I find it hard to believe Ford is going to be opening order banks in Feb when they still have MY22 showing up a dealers brand new.
Order banks should likely be April at the soonest
If I had to put money on it, it’s a push out.
I also wonder if it’s a bit of a stern warning on dealer conduct relating to markup / preorders. Dealers have not exactly given Ford a good look with Bronco, Lightning, Maverick launches… Although that may just be wishful thinking on my part
Awesome reply, thanks a ton for that context!
Interesting that there isn’t specific allocation, does that extend to trim / package levels like the Dark House? (I believe Dark House is an option package for a GT car, not a trim level, correct?)
Personally, if I could find a M1 with the handling package I would do that over waiting for the DH.
I’m sure the DH will be awesome, but competing with the whole world to get one sounds like no fun to me
How does Fords order bank system usually work once open? I know deposits are typically dealer specific, but I would love to have an idea of how this typically works.
I don’t care about even getting a car in 2023, just would like to have one lined up for 2024.
Thought I was leaning in a GT/PP...
