I'm not worried about detonation with the fuel I run. I'm just asking if anyone else other than brenspeed has installed a smaller pulley on the stage 1 kit
I only run e30 in my car so I'm not worried about that. The speed limiter does suck though I only get like 23 mph out of 4th gear and it hits the limiter
That's what I thought I heard as well. The brenspeed video confuses me because he puts it on the dyno and it makes more power and he didn't say anything about having problems. I was thinking it might not freak out if it's just 1 more pound of boost.
I saw a brenspeed video on YouTube where they put a smaller pulley on a stage 1 Whipple. Has anyone else tried this? Would there been any issues with the stage 1 calibration? Someone told me I could go down to a 3.625 on the stage 1. If the 3.625 wouldn't work would a 3.75?
Completely changes the car for the better. I wish they came from factory like this. It's perfect for me. I have fun Everytime I drive it but it also drives like a stock car when you're not high in the rpms. You 1000% wouldn't regret putting one on.
Interesting. Our ride height is the same. But my wheel gap is over a half inch more even with the tires. What package car do you have? Do you have the spare in the trunk too?
I misread your wheel size too. My brain thought it said 30 instead of 35. The half inch would definitely make a difference but I still believe it's too high for some weird reason.
I'm in contact with Rodney Williams! He sent all my information to engineering. Hoping to hear back from you guys when it's safe down there in Florida. Hope you guys didn't get hit too bad with Helene.
I'm in contact with steeda engineers now. But I believe so. The part number they sent me is correct for my car. I have never seen the magnaride springs. Not sure if they look different or if there is a possibility they sent me rear magnaride springs on accident
