  1. Is it worth it?

The biggest disappointment about it is that they didn't even use a Gt PP for this project. Especially considering its gets 120+ out here all summer. So this car is making 810 crank hp but it has the base radiator, no oil or trans cooler. Other than the springs they put on it, it doesnt have any...
  2. Is it worth it?

Lol thats my local dealership, its honestly not a bad price for the car they used some good parts, all it will need is a set of catch cans. Its been for sale for about 5-6 months so they will probably accept 75-76k for it, which would be a screamin deal.
  3. My new Mustang GT has annoying issues.

Its all good in the end they made it right. Its funny I had this romanticized idea of the whole his and hers mustangs but it was more like 1 mustang was the good twin and 1 was the psycho evil twin.
  4. My new Mustang GT has annoying issues.

No, after the oil consumption test and all the other issues the car had up to that point Ford opted to buy it back and lemon it instead of dropping a new engine into it.
  5. My new Mustang GT has annoying issues.

Its broke down and left my wife stranded at 800 miles, needed a transmission replacement at 1200 miles, at 1500 miles they found issues with the timing chain, around 2k miles started having charging system issues so they replaced the alternator and its been consuming 3/4 quart of oil every...
  6. My new Mustang GT has annoying issues.

I agree, luckily my 25 dark horse runs like a top, aside from the factory paint issues that were approved under warranty that im still waiting to have painted almost 5 months later hahhaha. But hey they tell me any day they will get final approval to go drop the car off at the body shop.
  7. My new Mustang GT has annoying issues.

Update after almost 7 months of back and forth fighting, Ford finally agreed to buy back the vehicle. It unfortunately kind of left a bad taste in my wife's mouth regarding mustangs, on a positive note now she wants a new raptor lol.
  8. Is this induction noise or something else?

I assume your talking about the whistle? Yeah its normal, my DH would have a whistle from the intake under certain conditions. Once I removed the carbon traps and changed my filters it got louder. Just part of having a good flowing intake.
  9. How would you build it?

Ford Performance has a version that is for the NA 5.0 and the whippled version. I imagine its. Just a difference of a hose or 2. I would talk to them about it, you may be to buy the NA version and run it now, then just buy the different hoses when you go boosted.
  10. How would you build it?

You already did the h pipe, and mentioned the whipple, other than that uour oem mufflers if active are great, if not active swap em with aftermarket, borla, corsa etc. get a nice header probably catless, because your likely to destroy cats with the extra heat being boosted. Pull your carbon...
  11. 24 Dark Horse hit a sign.

Personally I would order a replacement by bumper probably off ebay, lord knows ford will want 3x the amount because its a “darkhorse”. Have the body shop paint the bumper and install yourself. Should cost you around $1600 all together and an hour of your time.
  12. Gas Milage 😂 (manual transmission)

Highest ive seen in my DH 6speed was 297 miles on a tank. My regular is about 200.
  13. Air Filter

If you wanted some good filters you should have checked out the filters from Think, they are probably the best on the market. Better flow than oem, better filtration than oem, dry, reusable. https://thinkautotech.com/products/2024-mustang-gt-air-intake-filters
  14. Corsa Extreme Double H or Kooks 1-7/8 Headers

I mean if my oem ones rusted out, or if corsa had some killer sale where they were like 1100-1200 sure why not. But for 1800-2k im good on them hahaha. You may save a couple pounds, with them and you will gain another 3db of volume thats about it. I would start with the HH pipe and see how you...
  15. Corsa Extreme Double H or Kooks 1-7/8 Headers

Yup corsa HH pipe and then oem active exhaust mufflers. If you dont have the active exhaust the full catback makes sense, but if you have active already just the hh pipe is necessary.
  16. Corsa Extreme Double H or Kooks 1-7/8 Headers

I went with the HH pipe and have been very happy with the results. Louder, deeper, no drone, once Pulled the carbon traps and swapped the filters it gave it a very slight increase in volume as well and gave it a bit more of a snarl/ growl to the exhaust tone - perfection.
  17. Let’s talk E30 in the stock 5,0

If you wanna run ethanol I would suggest installing an ethanol guage/ sensor. This will allow you to monitor the amount in your car so that you dont accidentally run to high of a percentage and throw your car into limp mode. The calculators are nice but I found there are always variables that...
  18. K&N cold air intake CAI installed

Ford said a cold air intake doesnt automatically void your engine warranty as long as its properly installed. Aside from potentially throwing off afr an intake wont hurt the car. Sure its possible more dust/ dirt will pass through but what are we talking the engine lasting 180k miles vs 200k ...
  19. My new Mustang GT has annoying issues.

We have been going through the process for a few months now but Ford still doesn't want to take it back, they keep offering to just give us some money to keep it, hell we would be happy if they would just let us exchange it for another vehicle if they don't want to buy it back. At this point no...
