I've installed the vertical links and the rear diff bushing inserts, along with the subframe bushing support, alignment bushings and braces.
I also did a four wheel alignment once all was installed because the subframe and diff was moved around quite a bit during the install.
I haven't had any...
I have over 11,000 kms on mine now in it's first season this year, I did no specific break in procedure other than not hitting the rev limiter for the first 1000 kms or so and varying the rpm loads. I did not drive it at one speed on the highway until it hit about 4000 kms.
No issues so far...
LOL! She really is into fast cars, muscle cars, exotics, race cars like F1... She loves being in the DH. I did scare her a bit one day with the DH, probably why she says I don't need anymore power. All good.... Not the first muscle car I have owned and not the first time I've been behind over...
I'm in my sixties too and looking at a ProCharger setup for my DH.... The girlfriend says I don't need over 800 HP but I'm seriously looking at spending the money... YOLO
Just do it, LOL!
Nope that isn't right... probably broke the clips like someone else has stated. Check to make sure they actually change the broken part rather than gluing it down... which will be the easy way out.
I have a DH too, I'm doing the same... It never sees rain.
I am hesitant to allow them to do the recall because they need to take out the window for it. I'll just do my own check while it's in hibernation to see if the BCM is getting wet, which I doubt it is...
I already purchased the 2amp 12v NOCO GENIUS 2D, ON BOARD DIRECT MOUNT.
works like a charm... you can't go wrong as I have purchased this product previously for backup sump pump battery that needed to be tended 24/7.
I used this kit on a stock Dark Horse hood and it worked really well, the supplied brackets use the original bolt location for the radiator support.
The white stuff is toothpaste to locate where to drill the pilot hole under the hood for a starting location...
Thanks, I have the Dark Horse with 2 airboxes that draw air directly though scoops in the front grill fascia... just wonder what the setup would be with one airbox with one scoop.
I'm not gonna argue... It was a knowledgeable source when I asked another question about the availability of a scatter shield for the bellhousing, which is part of the MT-82 housing and not separate like a Tremec.
I've been under the car and am quite knowledgeable about equipment on this car...
I don't have a Tremec, a 2024 Dark Horse has the Getrag MT-82 but it's the same from a shifter point of view from what I understand.
The stock shifter for the MT-82 from Ford is all plastic internals that actuate a cast aluminum arm that is not straight... Review the install video here ->

I looked at the Steeda... Sorry but wasn't impressed with it because it really doesn't address the problems with the stock plastic parts of the shifter, which for me and others I talked to as a concern.
Went with MGW, very high quality parts and was impressed with how everything was packaged...
Yeah I looked at the Steeda, but all it is is a replacement stick for the stock shifter base, which still mounts to both tranny and body for the MT-82 transmission.
