Does anyone think the rear fenders will be wider than the current Mustang to allow for the installation of wider tires ?

I like what thePill has to say in post#47. If the new Mustang front end looks just like the one pictured in post#47 , I would certainly buy one. That Mustang front end looks so sleek and clean. I think thePill is on to something.

If the production is delayed for the 2023 Mustang , I suspect the 2022 GT500 production could go to the end of 2022. Not a bad deal at all.

I look at the current Mustang and wonder where the weight gain came from because it does not look as heavy as reported.. It is hard to eliminate weight if we do not know why it currently weighs more than expected. From what I hear is it weighs so much because of safety features and the IRS.

I also envision the next Mustang to be a poster car. The new Bronco is by all rights a poster off road vehicle just waiting for a poster , so why not have a poster Mustang.

I am actually in no hurry to see the s650. I would rather see Ford upgrade the current Mustang and make it perfect. If Roush can get 775 horsepower out of the Coyote engine with a supercharger , I would think Ford can do as well.

Did I miss something ? I did not know Ford was going to produce a next generation Fusion/Focus. I hope the next Mustang has the wider rear like a previous rendering showed.

After hearing GM will stop producing gas engines and diesels by 2035 and NISSAN will do likewise by 2030 , the next gen Mustang may very well be produced only as an EV.

I think Ford is going to be financially better sooner than most think. I see an awful lot of F150 trucks heading to dealerships now. Try to order a 2020 Mustang and you will find you may have to wait three months to get one. There appears to be an increase in demand for Ford trucks and Mustangs.

Not every adult is uncomfortable in the back seat of a Mustang. I am five feet 10 inches tall and weigh 160 pounds and have ridden in the back seat of my 1991 Fox Mustang and have not been uncomfortable . I think the Fox Mustang may even have had less room in the back seat than the current Mustang.

If the 2022 had the performance and looked good , I would not wait for the 2023 model.
