I agree. An auto shouldn't even be an option in a sports car.
I used to drive a 10 speed daily in NJ as a local driver and it never bothered me, even in the insane bumper to bumper traffic jams.
There is something about the connection you have to what you are driving with the manual gear...
I had the front, door cups and black trim on the doors of my F150 done with PPF, windshield and paint with IGL Ceramics.
I will definitely be having the Mustang done as well.
I talked to someone at Ford chat and they confirmed that you should be able to makes changes until the car goes into production.
Then they checked the status of my build (scheduled for 8/2) the computer stated it was locked in because it was scheduled. So their own information either...
Plenty of time to get those ceramic coated.
I did the wheels for my 68 myself (wipe on) and paid to have them done on my F150 (sprayed on) supposedly the spray on is a thicker layer.
¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯
Either way. They're easier to keep clean.
Zach would refund your deposit if the car somehow wasn't built.
I don't believe he would currently accept an order for a DH Mustang, as he stated, earlier in this thread they have orders in for 4 and are holding back on any more.
By going to the 275 you increase the height by .7 which will throw your speedometer off by approximately 2 mph. (It will read 2 under true speed)
Not a huge deal. Your dealer can fix it If bothers you. (It would bother me)
FORScan can fix it on the S550, not sure if that can be done with the...
Steeda posted this thread but no info yet.
I'm betting like the rest of us they are waiting to get their hands on production cars before commenting much on what will work.
I like those wheels as well.
Curious, why did you order 275/40?
Tire height is 27.7
Thread width is 9.4
Stock 255/40 are 27 and 8.5.
After too much research on mustang6.com most run 285/35 on 10" wide rims which is 26.9 and 9.7.
(All specs from tirerack/Continental DWS).
It seems like they are trying to make it appear to have more depth with the darker lighting.
My lady digs the color, which is odd, she prefers dark blues and grays.
I grew up in NJ and with rwd cars. My grandfather lived on top of Watchung mountain and it was always challenging to get to or from his house with snow on the ground.
I drove my 73 Nova up there in a storm one day to help him do something. He showed an hour late, (which he would never do)...
Speaking from no point of fact, I am definitely interested in a street only solution to address ride height and ride quality.
My 2015 rode / handled pretty well, as it was, I'm sure a comprise vs optimized.
I don't want to drag the body work over every parking lot entrance or rattle my teeth...
I'm sure just about everyone will be off the lot with a quickness.
I will be starting my 700 mile trip home from Granger with a bit of Disturbed (Down with the sickness) and my trusty V1.
Hopefully no one will Hellcat one into an unsuspecting crowd or parked car. That would break the internet.
