And it’s hard to give you a quote because it’s area specific, it was more expensive in my area than what ford is charging. It’s it’s the same price I’d have probably gone with ford anyway as they did a fantastic job on the car. My gaps seemed to have been better than most so it looks like they...
Code red is a specialty car built by Shelby not ford. I’m sure Lingenfelter will do the same eventually and it’s going to be faster than the stock one.
It did have the ztk package which comes with cup 2’s, it is a sticky tire but it’s not a drag slick like the demon 170 or the mustangs you are referencing running 9’s and low 10’s. The math alone says the new vette is capable of 8’s give its weight and HP stock and even a car that doesn’t have...
It ran 9.6 @150 on street tires, on slicks and skinny’s it’s probably in the 8’s. Look at the demon 170 times on slicks, about the same power with a lot less mass.
I wasn’t the first but given the z06 posted a 7.10 and this has 400hp more, I’m sure with a weight penalty….its going to be in the 6’s. At 233 mph top speed the next car on the list that post a speed that high is well over a million. If this car msrp is under 200k it’s going to be a steal.
I have it on mine, you need to shop prices in your area for full body Ppf. In my area the cheapest. Quote I got was 6800.00, so it was cheaper to go with ford. They do it at the factory and it comes with a 3 yr 36k warranty.
It’s hard to say at the moment, they were spec’d exactly the same. It’s very cold here and I’m waiting on tires to get here so I can dump the tofeos. Initial impression is I like the tech, driving wise so far can’t tell a difference. Fit and finish seems about equal, I think the seats are nicer...
