Yea! What Stanzi said! Unfortunately, you lost me right after the equipment list! I've done stereo system upgrades and installs. Sometime before Ronald Reagan. It's great to know I made the right decision to stop! Your install is extremely impressive. I would just be happy to have a subwoofer I...
This is quite perplexing to me why someone would use driving mode to get better performance! I was experimenting today and with the A10 if I downshift one gear, and depending upon the gear I drop into, I experience very little lag before the power is applied. If I drop two gears there is no lag...
I have to ask what mode are you usually in and what does clicking down twice do for you? I have the A10 and I use the toggles to down shift one or two gears, depending upon the situation. You can change modes at anytime but I would much rather downshift if I need to pass quickly. Glenn
I'm sure I mentioned it on here before but I swore off Fords after my 1970 Ford Torino Brougham turned out to be a turkey and that's an insult to turkeys. I held out for 54 years but the 6G Mustang started me thinking maybe the Torino wasn't that bad. I wanted a Z but Nissan in another stupid...
That's the same interior color combo I have and I get a lot of compliments about it. My exterior is shadow black but people have many times specifically commented on the interior! Glenn
I would chalk up my issue to the fact that I am gripping the shifter like I am driving a stick and can't seem to shake the habit. That puts my hand on top of the shifter knob, and thus the problem. My thumb really isn't involved. Glenn
It has nothing to do with it not sticking in your head. It is, IMHO and in disagreement with AZ_Ryan, a Ford problem. It should not slip, so easily into manual mode. But each to his own. I will be changing mine when convent! Glenn
Mine also came with the same Conti Pro Contact RX tires. I think they work great. Wet or dry they grip very well. I only have 2,800 miles on them, so can't comment on longevity. They are very quiet! I would definetly recommend them! I haven't had the Michelin tires, so can't comment. Glenn
The covers are no longer offered. The covers from the 2024 6G fit fine. My dealer ordered mine from LMR (Late Model Restoration). They fit fine and work perfectly even at high speed. I've been using mine since I got the car, and I have not noticed any wear or tear. YMMV! If you install them...
