Damn!
Mine's "in production" since September and I was so frustrated I almost cancelled the order. I can't even begin to imagine how frustrated you must be.
Dark Horse I understand. I ordered the GT. Never heard from Ford. It finally went into production over two months ago but it's been stuck there. Every time I contact Ford, it's "a couple of weeks".
I've only owned Honda and VW / Audi (well, and Hyundai). It's my first foray into Ford and I...
I read the title as "
Wow I am BLACK and truly BLOWN AWAY how nice the new GT is
"
I was like, "what does being black have to do with a car?"
For better or worse, they have among the highest profit margins in the industry. Their recent price cuts took them down a bit, but still in top 5. This infographic is only for EVs, not all cars :-

Uh, when you said "gas *cars* are dead", I read it as "gas *vehicles" are dead" but you meant "gas *sedans* are dead".
In that case I agree with you and we were saying the same things.
I don't know if gas cars are "dead" yet. EVs in North America count for < 10% for all vehicle sales despite massive government subsidies.
What happened was that consumers stopped buying cars and moved to SUVs (a tend I hate). 21% of vehicles sales are passenger cars, 79% are trucks and SUVs...
FYI, older millennials are in their 40s. Generally they're in their 30s. It's a stretch to say they can't "afford it".
I am not a millennial and I love the interior, as do many others.
I take the completely opposite view. In fact, there are many products I love (including my other car and motorcycle) where I don't see issues that people who drive hundreds of vehicles for a living do.
My winter "beater" is the 2013 Audi A6 3.0T. The biggest criticism reviewers had of that...
