Sorry I'm not familiar with the Soler device. I'm assuming your referring to the bluetooth throttle controller I saw when I googled it? I remember reading something about throttle controllers on my old 4-Runner being popular but I never ended up getting it. I cant believe Ford would make the...
I agree. Having the Mustang has really forced me to change my driving style to achieve that go-fast feel. Not necessarily a bad thing, but just different. I never watched the RPM's so close with the Camaro or my Challenger before that.
I'm glad to hear its normal for us Camaro-to-Mustang converts and not just me! That 6.2 was a beast. Other than the motor and chassis though, the Mustang is a huge improvement in most ways.
You guys are really making me want to do these 4.09 gears...
What kind of gas mileage did you guys really get out of them on the highway? 75-85 mph on average.
Ok this is good input. I think my next steps is to go test drive a GT w/PP and see what the 3.73 feels like. I like the idea of the 4.10 gears but if this job prospect thats 45 min away works out, I may have to hold off.
Thanks everyone.
Just some reading I did while researching. I can't remember exactly and I'm not sayings its right. I clearly prefer the acceleration of the 6.2 personally based on my question. Much more prefer Mustang for almost everything else though. I appreciate the incite though.
It's not...but it feels it. I think I know why and how to fix it, but I would like some smarter people than me to sanity check my logic. I'm not the most knowledgable with gearing so any help is appreciated.
For comparison sake, I am coming from a 2018 Camaro 1SS (non-1LE) 6-speed. I...
If it were described correctly to me, it seems to be a term used for the "best" in any category. I think it started with video games though. Now its slang. I guess the real "S-Tier" would be the GTR. I still appreciate the compliment though!
They were causing irrevocable harm for me so I stopped anything more complicated than Mario Bros about 10 years ago. I never heard S-Tier but I'm sure I would have had I kept at it.
I was this close to pulling the trigger on a manual CT4-V Blackwing for a similar price as the GT. I decided the lack of V8 was a deal breaker and I didnt have another 50k sitting around. What a sick car though!
I take classes on a local University campus to finally finish my degree at 44 years old. The other day I pull in to one of the parking lots and this dude is just staring at me. I figure he's an environmentalist or something and is mad at me driving a V8. I park and get out the car and he...
Thats a pretty good offer. I looked mine up on Carvana just yesterday. MSRP on my GT Premium was 61k six months ago. They offered me 44k. You made a good move getting that Dark Horse.
I got a pretty great deal a couple years ago on a 2018 Camaro SS with a manual. It only had 23k miles and I picked it up for 30k. Dealer wanted 5k more but let it go because they couldn't sell it due to the manual. Sometimes you can get a better deal on them just because the buyer pool is so...
For my 0.2 cents...I absolutely hated the screens only due to the fact I have to use them for HVAC controls. If I had knobs for HVAC and sound, the screens would be fine.
That said, I have found little short cuts on the HVAC controls and they bug me less now.
Now THAT said...my only other...
Surprisingly, I have settled on Calm. I like having the speedometer in the middle where I can see it better and the way they put the tachometer around the digital MPH is a nice design (6-Speed here). I also like how it displays just enough "other stuff" as well. When my wifes Tahoe goes to...
