  1. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

That’s what I’m going to find out from them tomorrow. They state the deposit is non-refundable, so we’ll see what they say.
  2. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

The dealer can no longer offer me the vehicle at our agreed upon price. Gas guzzler tax is included in the price of the vehicle, not paid after the fact. My dealer does not collect any tax from me at the time of sale, and I’m responsible for that at the time of registration. If what you said is...
  3. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

I agree. It’s not paid after the fact. It’s built into the price of the vehicle.
  4. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

I completely agree with you. However, it becomes a breach of contract as the dealer is no longer able to sell you a vehicle for the agreed upon price. Creates a bit of a predicament.
  5. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

Exactly. My build will now be $1,000 more than my order sheet and the price I signed with the dealer. I also have a $1,000 non-refundable down payment, so It’ll be interesting to see how they respond.
  6. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

My order sheet does not show the gas guzzler tax. And the initial ford order guide shows the base GT does not qualify for the gas guzzler tax.
  7. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

I’m going to make a call in to my dealer as well to see what my options are.
  8. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

That’s what I’m guessing as well. So in the case of a non-refundable deposit on an order, it would seem wrong for it to be non-refundable but subject to all ā€œpriceā€ increases.
  9. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

Exactly. So there is a price increase in these situations. That’s where I’m curious if there will be any price protection offered.
  10. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

But on my base GT, there is now a gas tax, which was not on the base GT before. I will have to pay $1,000 more, which is a change.
  11. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

Based on the assumption that the gas tax is the reason for the increase, is it safe to say there will be no price protection? As this is a gas tax increase and not a typical price increase?
  12. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

I’m really hoping that our price is locked in at time of order. I placed an order with a non-refundable deposit, and it would seem wrong if I were subject to all price increases with no option to receive my deposit back.
  13. Can we get a “not yet scheduled” list going šŸ˜†

I ordered from granger on 3/27, priority code 19. Base GT with no options. Still unscheduled. I agree that it seems to just be luck of the draw at this point.

  15. Can we get a “not yet scheduled” list going šŸ˜†

I checked with ford performance parts chat today around 4pm eastern time, and mine still shows unscheduled.
  16. Can we get a “not yet scheduled” list going šŸ˜†

Base Grabber Blue GT here with no build date scheduled. I definitely got my hopes up yesterday when I started hearing everyone get their VINs and build date. But unfortunately mine was not selected.
  17. Post your scheduled production build dates here!

Wow. Much longer than I experienced. Mine had a build week of early January and was delivered by end of January.
  18. Post your scheduled production build dates here!

Do you know how soon Ford typically sends an email to the customer with the build/schedule info?
  19. Post your scheduled production build dates here!

I’m hoping I get my base GT in the early wave as well. With no extra options, it should hopefully be easier to schedule/build.
  20. Post your scheduled production build dates here!

I ordered a 2022 Mustang GT through Granger Ford, and my vehicle was delivered about 3-4 weeks after the build week.
