  1. S650 Convertible 810HP Build - Looking for Technical Feedback

Do you have a link for that VMP brace? The only one I can find seems to suggest quite strongly that it’s purely intended to be cosmetic.
  2. I want my s550 back.

Not to diminish the frustration you’re feeling, but I think you’re OK on the insurance front. I’ve owned a few vehicles with speed limit sign recognition and it’s never 100%. I doubt that even if Ford were to provide an interface to access what the camera/software thinks the speed limit is, that...
  3. No decklid spoiler on '26 convertibles

They had to figure out how to cover the cost of improvements like patching the front fender liner holes. Also, standard spoiler delete used to be exclusive to the Performance Pack convertibles, soooo
 you’re welcome. 😏
  4. HVAC Musty Smell / Odor

I splurged for 72-hour access to the Ford Service manual and here's a summary of the official procedure for odor treatment (Note: many warnings about not spilling water or chemicals on floor or electronics removed for legibility) Identify the source of the odor. Check the evaporator core drain...
  5. HVAC Musty Smell / Odor

Yeah. The new filter helped a bit but didn’t fix the problem. I don’t see an obvious way to inject foam from below so I’ll have to try spraying various things into the intake with the filter removed as the system is running. If that doesn’t work. I guess it’s over to the dealer.
  6. S650 Mustang -Keep hands on steering wheel message

Speaking personally, I was engaging in more productive pursuits than complaining on a forum about my car telling me to put my hands on the wheel.
  7. S650 Mustang -Keep hands on steering wheel message

We're on the same page. I have the lane centering on my 2021 Explorer and it works great there. It's so unobtrusive I can leave it on all the time. It never gives me useless warnings about hands on wheel. I only feel it nudge the wheel in rare instances. I'm a bit ashamed to admit this, but it...
  8. S650 Mustang -Keep hands on steering wheel message

Interesting, this isn't my experience at all. Jiggling the wheel is absolutely mandatory on my car, or I get the warning. I've tried squeezing the wheel at the 9 and 3 and 10 and 2 positions and it makes no difference. I haven't tried pulling downwards on the wheel to put weight on it but I'd...
  9. Sunglasses holder

As someone who switches between polarized corrective sunglasses and clear corrective lenses when I'm driving, I wouldn't want to have to fiddle around with a case or pouch to protect my lenses in the cubby or console. I'm probably a minority but this feature is important to me and I'm very...
  10. HVAC Musty Smell / Odor

I have one and found it’s too much of a PITA to remove and reinstall every time I’m going somewhere. Also, it’s tricky to (un)install it alone while keeping the inside of it from touching the driveway and picking up grit.
  11. HVAC Musty Smell / Odor

Water drips from near the transmission when I run the A/C. Seems to come out closest to the driver’s side. I assume that’s where it should be dripping from? I just popped in a new cabin filter a few minutes ago but haven’t done a proper sniff test yet. The smell is worst after the car has been...
  12. HVAC Musty Smell / Odor

Unfortunately, I don't have a garage for it yet and though I don't typically drive it in the rain if I have a choice, it gets rained on frequently. My driveway is surrounded by trees that are trying to kill my cars in various ways (sap, leaves, flowers, seeds, broken branches, pooping perch for...
  13. HVAC Musty Smell / Odor

My '24 Convertible has started blasting a mold / musty smell from its air vents. The problem has gotten worse despite my attempts to dry the coil/evaporator by running the fan with no A/C after a drive. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what worked to fix the problem? I've had this...
  14. Sunglasses holder

    Nothing added in its place?
  15. Canada Roll Call

This was a factory order, so I waited a long time and probably paid too much. I have to give my wife the credit for the colour (and the blame for the A/T  ).
  16. ritis

It definitely loosens up after a few uses so there will be less pull required while twisting. Consider as well a short stick you could keep in the glove box to provide a bit of extra twisting force on the handle, if needed.
  17. Canada Roll Call

Toronto here. Just took a road trip to Quebec City / Île d’OrlĂ©ans last week with stops in Montreal. Lousy weather but still a great drive taking backroads when possible. I highly recommend it. Took this during a brief break in the rain on the island.
  18. Module for one-touch open/close top and at speed

Regrettably for YouTube view counts, operating the top at unlimited speeds is not a thing this product lets you do. https://www.mods4cars.com/sms/db/smarttop/ext/support/manuals/ford/STHFFD2/operation_v1.2/en.php
  19. Module for one-touch open/close top and at speed

I just received an email from the company saying it is now available for S650. https://www.mods4cars.com/sms/shop/index.php?p=b3JnYT1zbWFydHRvcCZncm91cD0yJmxhbmc9MiZjdXJyPTI=&action=products&cat=6&mode=view&id=166
  20. My twin found me -- 2024 GT Grabber Blue

Similar thing happened when a near-twin found mine last summer! (Grabber Blue GT PP convertibles - only real difference is the Nite Pony package on mine.)
