Getting ready to prep the Pioneer sub for an install. I was just planning to Dremel out the new sub as shown somewhere on these threads so I don't have to drill new holes. I just need to find the right Dremel wheel. Thanks for all the great info here. I am going to try to use my headlamp to...
I can confirm on my just delivered DH the fender holes are not there. I see they also added some sort of air baffle near the inner portion of each wheel well.
With VW out of the game on manual trans for the GTI and R this is definitely a contender at that price point, much like the WRX. So much power in such a light car hahaha. Sat in one at the auto show this year and if I was looking for something smaller think it could be fun.
It was pretty...
Drove her only 5 miles home but can't wait to drive her to the shop Monday for her spa day. I had not driven a Tremec but what a difference from my daily stick shift. I will post the sticker soon but here is the production number and a picture in her resting place. 4337 seems lower this time...
Was not expecting it so quick! Asked the dealer to hold off washing it. Going to pick it up later this week and it is going in for front ppf and ceramic on Monday.
Thanks for all the great posts while I waited. Super excited to get back into a V8!!!
Great news! I stopped into the dealer to ask and lo and behold it is built and set for delivery next month. They gave me the vin and printed out the window sticker. No idea why I was not kept in the loop but it is not like I was checking every day. Super excited now though!
I currently have a 2016 GTI Autobahn as I await my Dark Horse. It has been a great car for what it is. Handles nice, great interior/ gauges/etc. the manual transmission is a bit flaky off the line sometimes. Not the worst but certainly excited for the Tremec.
It is pretty fun dropping to 4th...
Thanks for posting this! I have read a few places that manufacturers have stated they will provide backward compatibility and since Ford is on the will support list and has massive screens I am hoping they give owners the option down the road.
The dealer had an allocation of one. I am fine riding out the next couple months but I think I will ask for a deposit refund at that point if there is no schedule.
Just interested in how deep into the calendar they build the current model year. My deposit in Feb is getting awfully long in the tooth and if I do not get an August build date I am curious how many calendar months remain for this model year.
