do you want a street car or race car? why buy a nice cruiser and strip it down or spend crazy money to save the last pound? lose what weight you can most cost effectively and don't worry about the last 2% of performance. most owners are happy with the car's performance the way it comes. you can...
who cares how non car people feel? You either love cars and driving (fast) or you don't. They don't know what they are missing. I would spend every last cent to maximize the experience.
I hope all those years of no payments has allowed you to save up 65-70K. If so you will be very happy with a loaded GT with PP and all the goodies to make it a fine replacement to hopefully last you another 15 years+.
nothing wrong with pre collision, just the driver :)
If you care about keeping the car have it fixed correctly at a competent Ford bodyshop. I think it will cost more than the estimate after they take it apart. Maybe 8 or 9K to make it just like new.
Cheap out and you will regret it in the future.
Re-read my post Mr. Rabbit. The theme was no EV or AWD. I just threw the V8 part in there. You yourself have said you have considered a V8 right? Your EcoBoost definately qualifies as a Mustang. Just a slightly slower and more efficient one :)
EV or AWD will be the begining of the end of Mustang. That's what a MachE is for. Mustang is meant to be a V8 RWD. Always was, always will be. Anything else will not be called just a Mustang. Maybe a Mustang plus or something else stupid.
11.64@130? LOL. Dude, walk it out of the hole. You don't have to go WOT at the green. 130 should be way in the 10's. Low 10's. And get some tires. Either DR's or at least some wider meats. 305's would help.
don't know for sure about Ford but most manufacturers will warranty clutch for a year or 12k miles, whichever comes first. The prices they are quoting you are insane.
Sounds like you need a more reputable dealer.
