I added one to my MY24. I did notice the intake air temps did decrease. Don’t know about WHP and WTQ since I’ve never dyno’d the car. It does look good and it sounds better but that is probably just my imagination.
Maybe..but I think the idea is based on levels of boost pressure to when/how much pressure to release. I’m no engineer but it seems like a rational argument.
Bad choice of words, should have said better quality diverter. It also progressively opens and closes based on boost pressure vs simply opened or closed. They give a good explanation on their website.
Has anyone used a blow off or diverter valve from GoFastBits, a company out of Australia? I’ve noticed at some sites, they are talked up as a good upgrade for the stock diverter or blow off valve.
I went to their website to see if they stock anything for the 2024 and up Ecoboost. Only...
Added the V1. As stated above, a little PITA with the BOV hose but otherwise an easy mod. Could definitely see the change in intake air temperature compared to the stock inlet.
It was pretty simple. There was a post from a guy (MateoF) on American muscle site who had a problem with the spoiler in the center where the double sided tape attaches to the trunk. He posted pictures. The spoiler started to bubble up in the middle. I think I have figured out the problem...
