Agree. Ran 315/30 Hoosier A7 in my SC pony and they'd break lose quite easily. All about control and throttle management.

Good choice. Diff between R7 and A7 is the A's warm up quicker, but don't last as long. R7's take a little longer to heat up to optimum (usually an extra lap), but last longer.

That's why I saved new tires for race days, they ain't cheap and I could normally get 2-3 race events off a set of tires.
