I work with people that have worked in the car manufacturing space and from what they've told me Ford actually has pretty good quality control so its surprising to see something this egregious get through.

I called CSX and they estimated the 21st but it still has to go from train to car.

One of the ford chat people told me that the carrier is something called Precision Vehicle Logistics. I looked it up and it has a slightly different name.

Have you tried contacting the carrier? I've thought about it but haven't.

What do they say the eta is? Ford chat told me today that my eta is the 12th through the 18th. Even though it's still on the lot and it's the 13th!

Ford chat just told me my eta is listed as the 12th -18th... it's the 13th. Still no sign of it leaving the forbidden land.

Still sitting in New Boston :/ date got moved back 2 days again. Looks like it'll keep getting pushed back until it mysteriously materializes on my front yard.

Yeah I wouldn't put much stock in the people that say that. I'm coming from a 17 year old V6 so this thing will feel like going into warp drive. I drove an ecoboost one time and in sport mode that thing felt like a rocket ship. Anyone coming from gen 5 definitely won't be disappointed.

I haven't talked to them today but yesterday they still said its at 5M. Makes no sense that it would get here next week if that's the case.

ETA moved back 2 days now it says 9/7 - 9/20.

To any of the people who got their cars. Did any of you get your car during the estimated delivery dates even though ford chat said your car hasn't left New Boston or any other hub?
