Probably not much help if you are not in Australia, but I bought the parts from BrickResales in Brisbane. They had all sorts of Lego parts and that's where it all started π
Thanks heaps YamenGT650 π
I'm glad you like it.
I guess I could start a GoFundMe page if someone wants to buy me a coffee π
But honestly, I'm just happy to share this with you guys and hope it gets built many times π
RoninGSX, thank you so much!!! π
I'm so glad you like my design.
It all started with buying one bag of random grey/black lego pieces at a local Lego-resales place, in hope of building my mini-mustang. Took about 4 days and 2x re-builds to get it right, but I enjoyed every moment π
It was only...
Thanks! I'm glad you guys like it! π
I was able to redo the model digitally and got the instructions done as well - in case some of you want to give it a go at building it π Also added the parts pages on the back of the booklet, so you know exactly which parts and how many you will need...
Hahha true π I had an attempt scanning the model to create the instructions, but that didn't really work π΅βπ« I might end up re-creating the car in digital and if I do, I will make sure to share the instructions here ππ
No painting, I just bought a bunch of grey lego pieces and used those to build this up. It took a few re-builds to get it right with the parts I had available π
This build is about 26cm long - similar size as the Lime Green Shelby Lego Technic.
And this is why I shouldn't have such a long Christmas/New Years holiday! π€·ββοΈπ
I thought I build a mini-version of my ride and this is how it came up:
I love the cold-start too! And in the acoustics of the garage, it sounds nice and loud π one thing I missed out on is the remote start with my manual π
Hahha, cool!! π I remember seeing a family walking there, when I was driving past - I even looked back, saw a wave and thought "that might be Andrew and family" π
Was driving back from a much-needed car wash. I had it in Sport mode and Rev-match on of course π
