It looks like the cone is misaligned, but they change the hood to correct it. In my opinion not the right way ro fix it.

Yep I saw that. Almost nobody does it and I guess nobody cares and that's why Ford keeps on producing cars that look like somebody replaced the parts by himself and was not good in fitting them.

This is the first Mustang that I see that has the issue on the right side.
