MAT1955 that is an awesome looking machine with fantastic color. BTW did you make sure that the dealer did a PDI on the vehicle? If he did he should give you a copy. Enjoy the car and good luck!
I just got email from local Ford dealer that has RTR Mustang for sale. BTW- I had no idea that they are priced high up there. Mr. Vaughn must be a very happy man. 97K MSRP??? Crazy.
Just picked up at my local Target store two DH models. One is PinkSlip JADA 1:32 scale and the other is 1:64 scale in this beautiful metallic orange. The colors are very nice. Maybe in 2027 model year Ford will do that light blue color??
Assuming that you have the wiring in the upper console for the module you could buy it, but my best guess is that programming will be required to work with your vehicle network. The PATS components in your car would have to work with the new module. Attached is the network diagram and picture of...
Here is a picture of the intrusion module that has to be installed in the overhead console. Inside the module is also integrated inclination sensor and the module communicates over the "LIN" bus to the BCM module. Not sure if the cable harness to the console has the connector for it in a vehicle...
Hi Roket,
is there a way of getting the actual Ford part numbers for all electronic modules in the Mustang s650 year 2024 and up models? I just looked at the GWM module and I see that they have like 10 parts with the same main number but at the end of the number -xx comes with like -AB -AA..etc...
Looks like many of these modules are made at Ford Mexico and all it takes is one component inside not meeting specification and the module get tossed in the garbage. BTW-I just noticed this recall on Mach-EV ( on Ford Authority web side)and wonder how different these modules are from S650 that...
For example if you toggle the flash to pass on steering column the SCCM module send request to BCM to execute the flash to pass. If you request Auto Highbeams the IPMA module send a request to SCCM to execute that. The headlamp switch is handled by the LIN bus, but BCM checks the switch for any...
The problem with "AI" is that it acts like giant blender of past designs and outputs stuff that is hard to swallow. I would suggest to look at past concepts done by famous car designer for the Mustang and why those made a splash when introduced to the public. They all had the 1964 Mustang DNA...
Thanks, great to know that the board has conformal (epoxy) coating. Looks like the weakest link are the male pins. In proper connector mating one would like to see both male and female pins plated with the same metal (nickel, gold, etc). I am guessing that the female plug pins have the same...
OK, I decided that I would add per pin schematics functionality to each of the eight (C2280A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H) BCM connectors for future reference. This could be handy when in later years I may need to do some troubleshooting on the BCM. It is also easier to see what some of the functions are...
Yes, you would think the extra cost of gold pins or conformal coating on the PCB plus maybe dielectric grease on the pins would save tons of money later as the vehicle ages, but Ford costs per vehicle would go up.
For example, the interior of a normal home appliance isn't protected against...
