You bet! They looked great when they were clean, which lasted about as long as it took to drive to the end of my driveway lol. I just got tired of looking at perpetually dirty rims and calipers. The calipers are a pain to clean too... the top surface not so much, but the side facing outwards...
Yes, I have the same setup but a 2024, around the 2000-2100 rpm range there is always a mechanical rattle/tapping, it sounds like noisy tappets to me, but I'm no mechanic.
I'll have to pay closer attention, I haven't noticed that. I cruise around in Track most of the time, ironically I switch to Normal when I want to get under it so as not to draw too much attention to another jerk Mustang driver
I find sport and track are difficult to distinguish, but normal and sport/track are noticeably different. Also, to me a cold warm up sounds pretty much the same for the first few seconds regardless of mode, until the revs drop.
No intention to add any performance modifications, as a daily driver it has more than enough horsepower for my abilities. But I have made some cosmetic modifications to make the car my own. Rear louvers, fake side air scoops, a little pinstriping, window tint. The only other thing I think I will...
Yeah, no doubt, but Iād get my ass whooped by a Tesla too and I sure donāt want one of those, but to each their own. For me itās the joy of using 4 limbs to drive instead of two, the rhythm, the coordination.
I guess it depends on what your interpretation of āwinningā is. First across the line is less consequential to me than the driving experience. Iāll take a slower car for a more engaging drive any day.
Comparing automatic with manual is like comparing playing with yourself to making love. Both...
What a stellar reply! Thanks for the thought and effort you put in to this, it is genuinely helpful. My hat's off to you! I will thoroughly enjoy playing with the alternatives suggested here. I think Adams Slick and Slide will be my first try.
I love this stuff, been using Hybrid Solutions for about 5 years on my black vehicles, the gloss and hydrophobic properties are out of this world. Bummed to learn this product has been discontinued, so I'm on the hunt for a replacement. Any recommendations?
I've been waving at other Mustangs since I bought my first ever this time last year, and I've only ever had one other driver wave back, and he was a teenager. Maybe I'm not cool enough yet. My previous ride was a Type R, and every other driver waved back, it was the law. Admittedly a much rarer car.
