I wonder what they're going to call this joker. S650 has been a pleasant surprise, I didn't care for it until I saw a Dark Horse and it looked awesome- while I'm crazy about the exhaust design I will reserve judgement until I see the car.
I love the way it looks. Agree with the GT350 script being a little off, I'd like to know what suspension changes they made and if it's really more track oriented than say a DH.
The price is ridiculous, but the Shelby badge carries a premium I guess.
I'm a GT350 owner, love the car. I bought mine knowing what it was and what it wasn't, I couldn't swing a GT3 at the time. The times you are expecting are very difficult for a manual car, especially at the time the car was released. You're essentially expecting the performance of a 992 manual...
I don't think there's a chance that the range topping street Mustang (omitting the GTD for obvious reasons) for the S650 generation is a package for the Mustang GT or DH and not a standalone model. The current FP800S doesn't nearly replace something like the S550 GT500 in the lineup and neither...
I understand what you're saying but I don't see it that way. There's certainly room for a GT500 or Cobra in between the GTD and the DH. I don't know what they'll call it but I doubt it'll be a version of the DH. I don't think they'll bring the GT350 back, and I don't think that they should - but...
Hopefully someone runs a GT350 and a DH on the same track on the same tires for a comparison. The DH isn't developed by Ford Performance from what I understand, that in itself puts it in a different category in comparison to the Shelby's and as such I'd imagine didn't get the same "effort" given...
I think there will likely be a Shelby/Cobra/Boss.
The Dark Horse is an attempt to appeal to younger car enthusiasts but they have to much history to not take advantage of it.
In the US it's common to advertise the power produced by the engine. I never knew that European cars are rated at the wheels, make sense because I often hear BMW under rates HP numbers.
Weren't there some issues with the 350R Lightning Lap? I seem to remember people having an issue with it. I'm sure the DH will be faster on some tracks especially if the tires are grippier.
GTE50?
I wouldn't say there's no room for the GT350 in the current lineup, according to Savagegeese the DH isn't as hardcore as the GT350/R. The GT3 is really what will take its spot and I imagine they could still call that a GT350. Anyway, I don't think they'd call the first Hybrid Mustang a...
