not hurt, just confused as to why someone would spend so much time on a forum dedicated to car they donāt like. Also not sure how youāre able to get this far in life without the ability to do simple addition and subtraction.
Butthurt? Over what exactly? Your unrealistic expectations? Your right Ford could tune the 5.0 to produce more horsepower in both the GT and DH, but at what cost? You have to think of the average driver that is going to buy one of these vehicles and beat the hell out of it. So Ford tunes the...
Ummm... Sure.
Oh and you mention other companies "stepping on the gas". Which other companies are those? Chevy, which will be ending production of the V8 Camaro? Dodge, which will be ending the production of the V8 Challenger? By stepping on the gas you must mean running from gas powered...
You're talking about a 6 horsepower gain for the GT over the Mach 1 as a let down? Lest we forget, in the history of the Mustang GT, the "next gen" Mustang GT has never (I believe) surpassed the previous gen non-shelby performance model. So we are looking at and increase of 26 horsepower (not...
I owned a 2000 Mustang GT āvert same color but black leather interior. Built it with BBK shorty headers SLP catted x-pipe and LM2 cat back, JLT CAI larger throttle body and plenum, comp cams stage 2 cams, short throw shifter, 3:73 gears. Loved that fricken car.
I get what you're saying but my point was that I don't believe the bezel between the two models is any different on the top and sides, they used the same vertical dimensions between the two setups and created a bezel that just connects the two displays, so the only extra black around the screen...
I donāt believe you are correct that the gauge cluster screen is small in one car vs the other, we just havenāt been given a good enough look at the dual screen set up to compare side-by-side. It would cost Ford more money to have two different display sizes produced for the car.
Edit: unless...
Iām just not seeing this huge bezel youāre talking about. From every image I can find the overall perimeter dimensions of the different setups are the same with no additional bezel on the top or outsides and the only different is the connection in the middle.
Ford used the same platform for the Mustang from 1979-2004. Each generation between them was never questioned as to whether or not it was really a "New generation". So it amazes me that people would expect an entirely new platform after a single generation and I just don't understand why people...
