It's not that impressive, sorry.
A stock GT with a Whipple runs 10.3.
The cost of that is in the high $50s.
It's not just me. It's seems a lot are disappointed everywhere you read about these Corvette numbers on the Internet.
Also, that Corvette had the ztk performance package, so not...
It's only a "bone stock production" car because it comes with everything already lol It's twin turbo over 1000hp and it only ran 9.6. Does it have to be 2000hp to run a 9.5, like geez.
The s650 with a supercharger is $60k.
Definitely disappointing 1/4 time. No doubt about it.
My post was a response to the user I replied to.
But my mustang will give me the no hands on steering wheel warning if I'm going perfectly straight and it doesn't detect any input from the steering wheel (like if you're going perfectly straight and it doesn't need input). Only gotten it a...
I don't think you're supposed to rely on lane assist when driving... I think it's a safety feature in case you mess up and start going out of your lane lol
If they're offering you $42k for it, they're going to sell it for $50k. So it's a year old in terms of the model year and has 7k miles on it and the MSRP is 68k and they're going to sell it for 50k. Not that off to be honest.
Try selling it privately.
I never said that car in the video was $32k. You said a PP Ecoboost only does 0-60 in 5 seconds early in another thread. I said it was faster. And I was correct.
That's my final post on the subject. Not going to hijack this thread lol
Mustang Ecoboost 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. Remember you said that was impossible and that it could only get to 5 seconds with a performance package lol Crazy value for under $35k.
Obviously they can get a lot better time when the course isn't wet, but they wanted to release the time to be the first American brand under 7 minutes.
Wouldn't be surprised if it gets under 6:50 in better conditions.
Edit: Reading the press release also confirms that they can get a lot better...
If they buy it from you for $42k, that means they're going to sell it for more, probably just under 50k.
At that point, it's like why would someone buy a used car for 50k when they can get a "new" mustang GT for that price.
I'd keep it for a while. It'll level off.
They're never released on the first year. If you look at the s550, I think the Ford Performance tunes released in late 2016, and the s550 came out late 2014 as a 2015 model year. I was waiting then also. So it's nothing out of the ordinary.
Personally I'm wanting Ford Performance to release their tune for it moreso than the ECU being cracked since I usually just get the Ford Performance tunes. Wondering how much performance they can add while still keeping that warranty intact 🤔
