I am still unsure why he got hit with a lawsuit over that. Those hoods and fenders can be found from a couple different manufacturers and no one else has had a problem.
Also, the owner of the car won't get the lawsuit, it would be the company that made the parts.
A fellow AZ dark horse!
I have to admit I was shocked when I drove mine for the first time last summer. With the AC on, the temps stayed far lower than I would have guessed in the heat.
I was looking at one that they had on the lot randomly when my dad went to pick up his ct5 Blackwing and I said the same thing. It was a manual and they let me take it for a spin. It was pretty fun honestly, but I think it was a huge miss not putting just an n/a v8 in it. It would have been the...
I found some that I cropped and you can see the sensors. You just can't see the 3rd one in the front. It's in the center behind the grill.
They are more hidden on my other cars, but this one didn't have many options. No one ever notices them and if they do, they don't know what they are.
I don't, but I cant take some a little later. The rear sensors are tucked up barely peeking out on each side of the license plate. Two front sensors are mounted on the top side of the air inlet holes in the front bumper and one is in the center of the grill
I have the redline ci 360 in mine and I love it. Have the display mounted on the steering wheel column in a custom housing and the button bad mounted under the infotainment screen. 3 sensors mounted in front and 2 in the rear. Discreet and works incredibly.
When I went to buy mine, I ordered it in September of '23 and then by May of '24 I cancelled my order. None of the handling packs they ordered ever got built. I wasn't alone either, the other 6 people that ordered cancelled theirs as well. Something about the handling pack was impossible to get...
Mine isn't perfect either, but it doesn't bother me. I wondered at first when I first put it on, but I stopped noticing it after the first couple days.
That's awesome! I am glad that you are enjoying it. Everyone gets intimidated to drive a manual at first, but after you get use to it, its hard to go back to an automatic.
I did the same thing with mine. I drove the first 1k miles without getting to redline, but I didn't drive it easy. After that, the last 3500 miles have been "spirited" :cwl:
