  1. How's your splitter holding up

I just purcahsed a DH with the handling package, so it has the larger splitter. I can't even try to pull into my driveway. My CX-5 scrapes going out of my driveway, theres no way the DH would survive.
  2. Celebrated National Mustang Day (62nd Birthdate) with a new Dark Horse!!

I am out in the Richmond area. I have 2 quotes already. The dealership said they would try to beat any quote I get too, but I'd still feel a little sceptical letting them do the work even though I know they contract out, but probably to the cheapest bidder. If you don't mind, can you PM what you...
  3. Celebrated National Mustang Day (62nd Birthdate) with a new Dark Horse!!

I guess I will let the OP of the picture speak to it, but looks like it might be an AI/photoshop placed background. Edges, shadowing under the car, and some weird stuff on the windsheild look off. Don't hate me, I'm just a guy who likes to analyze stuff... :D
  4. Celebrated National Mustang Day (62nd Birthdate) with a new Dark Horse!!

Not a newbie to Mustangs. This marks my 4th one! I picked up a 2025 Shadow Black Mustang DH, with the handling package, recaros and some other things I can't remember. MSRP was edging $79k.. I ended up getting 17% off sticker price. I couldn't pass it up. I feel like I paid what it should have...
  5. S650 cancelled?

I highly doubt it. Just because we are progressing to greener technology and EV there will still always be a market for sports/performance cars, always. The Mustang brings in a lot of money for Ford even if it isn't their best seller. Now if they are spending WAY too much R&D and could never...
  6. Mustang Hybrid (S650) Announced, Debuts in 2020

Then buy classics like all the other old school guys? You all act like it's the end of the V8 for EVERYTHING, past and new. It's not even stated that the V8 is going ANYWHERE. You will still have a V8 option, bet on it.
  7. Mustang Hybrid (S650) Announced, Debuts in 2020

It's really fun to read the speculations made from a an extremely vague statement. What's great is how long you will have to wait to find out exactly. Were are months from a 2018 release and still don't know much about it.
  8. Mustang Hybrid (S650) Announced, Debuts in 2020

    This thread is hilarious.
  9. Mustang Hybrid (S650) Announced, Debuts in 2020

I don't understand why people think that this means the V8 goes away. The V8 just falls down the the middle ground Mustang GT trim, since there is no more V6. The Hybrid is going to be a new trim (not the GT 5.0), which will be the bigger performer. As stated, the V8 will go away entirely though...
  10. Mustang Hybrid (S650) Announced, Debuts in 2020

You act as if Mustang is Ford's creme of the crop money maker. It's not really so them continuing to not make a lot of changes to it isn't going to hurt the company even if it's what all the other cars are doing. The Mustang is a small figures of sales compared to their whole line up of...
  11. Mustang Hybrid (S650) Announced, Debuts in 2020

V8 will replace the V6 and eventually be phased out just like the V6 was. Not just Ford but a lot of people and those who aren't planning to step up on the hybrid/EV game will be too late. Regulations will only continue to get worse for manufactures. Keeping big V8 engines with poor economy...
  12. Mustang Hybrid (S650) Announced, Debuts in 2020

They are. The baby-boomer generation got what they wanted. Now it's time to focus on the technology generations.
  13. Mustang Hybrid (S650) Announced, Debuts in 2020

V8 will be the new V6 line up but eventually axed out too.
  14. Mustang Hybrid (S650) Announced, Debuts in 2020

Hell they probably already started round tables on the Hybrid Mustang before the S550 was launched. With big businesses, the work never stops, projects over lapse each other, risk and analysis happens YEARS before it's even mentioned to the public.
  15. Mustang Hybrid (S650) Announced, Debuts in 2020

No. It will be made from space iridium that weighs only 0.6oz per 10sqft.
  16. Mustang Hybrid (S650) Announced, Debuts in 2020

Maybe it will get the 4.8 V8 we keep seeing rumored with an additional 150-200hp/150-200tq from the electric motors :P
  17. Mustang Hybrid (S650) Announced, Debuts in 2020

It's funny we get news about 2020 Mustang but can't even get a sneak peak at the damn 2018 that will be selling in months!!! DAMN YOU FORD, YOU GOOD.
