I apologize for the confusion. What I said is true for the S550. That being said, we are running the S550 Front brakes on our 2024 HPDE car. This has allowed us to run an 18" wheel on the track. Less rotating mass and a much larger selection of tires.

There are multiple brake kits available for this conversion. We at Steeda have multiple kits. Ford Performance does as well. Yes, we noticed the issue with both S550 and S650 on every track we have been in both Florida and Georgia. At Daytona, the problem is a lot more apparent and worse, that's why we chose to test at that track.

One of the reasons is Ford increased the brake line pressure on the S650 substantially. Going back to the engineering to upgrade the design for the higher brake pressure. Let me reach out to some out to some of our reps and see if they have a multi piston rear kit in the works.
