Well, the digital gauge cluster seems to be the one of the biggest detractors on the new model. I was just guessing that was one of the things you may not believe is an upgrade? I wasn't being specific to you with the comment.
Can’t see too many other things that can’t be seen as an upgrade...
Well that may be more a personal thing for each man to decide for himself. You may prefer analogs in your 86k dark horse!
Ford is certainly promoting it as such and Ford definently hasn't been doing a bad job of that this go around.
Liking the fast responses!
Very true, I thought that too until I saw post after post here and other places with so many dark horse orders , a vehicle that is N/A and passing ZL1 and gt500 levels in terms of price. I saw someone happy to spend 86k! Definently have it better than me 🤣 What car could I get for that? But...
I know we have this group think on the forums but we are a small percentage. Not everyone is a brand loyalist. Id wager most people shop multiple brands. Note I said “ Someone looking for a v8 muscle car” not a 392 or LT1 owner.
When the only *New* vehicle that will fit that formula will be the...
I was considering ordering a dark horse since it was so close in price to the GT Premium. But X plan helps bring the price within reason. Gonna have to look into that.
Meh something tells me someone looking for a v8 muscle car is going to avoid those two vehicles (esp the stinger 🤣 ) and go ahead to the next logical choice.
We will have the sales data when they release and sell a while and we can revisit this with the results if we remember ;)
I thought the same thing. They have a great avenue. Hopefully they dont pull a BMW/toyota style move and make you pay for others.
Or you buy a 24 and the 25 comes out with 3 new options. 🤣 This could be nice with OTA ability.
I will hope they beg us to buy them so I can get a great deal. But lets be honest. When chevy and dodge finally finish it and theres only mustang. Do you thing there will be LESS sales? I honestly doubt it. Esp once all the good old s550s dry up.
I would . Id spend for that. A last call dodge isnt out of the realms as they will be a collectors Item for sure. But I am a ford guy through through so maybe I will wait for the 25s to come and scoop a 24 on deal?
As much as Id like a DH I cant have my mustang costing more than my 21 f150 powerboost did new.
GT Premium
401a w/PP/Active Exhaust. Maybe M ride.
Not gonna lie. Msrp 55k plus is having me look at other options too. 23 prem with dash and good options can be had for 43k or less.
Hey I am 31 and work in telecommunications. Ill be getting a mustang to match my 21 f150 XLT powerboost.
The amount of trouble the older group has signing into facebook/emails Im SURE the digital dash/panels aren’t gonna go down easy.🤣
Final year SS 1LE. Beside the ergonomics of the car like visibility and crampish inside (from what I hear I am 6’3) , I have always loved chevy engines and Id like to have one for once.
Never will I pay 50k for a new car with ANALOG gauges and buttons. Its a 2024 car. The 80s/90s was 30-40s years ago.
Shh no one tell them they are taking away AM radio too.
Idk if Id want analog gauges in my 55k mustang guys although I understand the concern as theres always been one. Its 2024 model though not 2014.
I think once people sit in it and view it and the modes that an analog could never offer… more will like it.
I get that. But your the few that actually care about true specs. The majority will see faster engine/updated looks/ ledpanel interior etc.
17-18 was just like this and those are a strong seller since day one as well. For 18 and newer owners they may hold for a bit the masses will not choose...
