Well, Ford charged me for Oil change every time i service my 2020 Ecoboost....so yeah, it uses oil too! i had that car for 3 years, and when i change it for this one, it rode and look just like the first day! it was hard to part ways.....until I heard the engine on the 2024 GT.....then i...
I didn't visually check the oil, just used the app (have yet to check the car dashboard itself). And it looked like it was going down, consuming more or less same as my old 2020 Mustang. but this 99% reading surprised me!
Yes, I'm still on the first oil, have not change it yet, going on...
I used Gorilla Tape about a month ago. We experienced rain, snow, construction roads in the area where i live (Alexandria, VA)...and is still holding fine, no sign of tear or loose tape.
Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal Tape 4" x 10' Black
Count me in! nice feature to have....
Aren't this BLISS "safety features" prevent to change lane if your turn sign is on and there is a car on that lane?
Reading this post, made me curious about my oil status. the last time i check was around 80% with 1600miles...i just checked and it says 99%:computerrage:
something is not right...anybody else has a car that auto regenerates its oil???
Same here. I had a 2020 Ecoboost conv, and I use carwash many times. Never had any leak. Current 2024 GT conv, was on a car wash only once (use detailing and hand wash since then) but had no leaks either...
well, i did a small trip last weekend, around 100miles, mostly highway, and i got 25mpg on average! On high gear and around 60 or 70mph this GT has good mpg...on the city...not so much! But I knew that when i got it...i went to the dealer to change my 2020 EcoBoost for a 2024 EcoBoost....but...
When i got my 2024, the dealer told me Ford is not delivering those with the 2024 version. I I went to buy the new car on my 2020 Convertible (switched it for the new one), which had the side covers, but they were in the trunk, in the original plastic bags...in 3 years, I never used them!
Same thing with my android. It works fine a few times..then it just won't connect wireless. Have to use cable, that works every time.
Next time, it start working again...it's very random but often.
I have set up the quiet start times to basically all day, so it will always start quiet...but the cold start is loud as hell! (i love it, the hubby, not so much! )
It takes around 30s for the revs to go down and be really quiet.
Today, I got the same Errors again. A car stopped close in front, and the RED Pre-collision blinking warning light up...right after that, the errors in orange started to pop up, one after the other , while I was driving:
"Front Camera Fault Service required"
"Pre-Collision Assist not available"...
I come from a 2020 EB. I went to the dealer decided on another EB...but the moment i test drove the GT i fell in love with it. I use my GT as a daily driver, mainly in the city....ghastly 13 or 14mpg...with my EB i was doing 18mpg. (lots of stops and signs, and max speeds at 25 or 35 miles!)...
Have some wireless connection issues on Android and Iphone. With cable it works every time.
Also, as we are 2 drivers on this car, one with androind the other with Iphone, if we are both on the car, it will connect to the last that was connected. Once connected (CarPlay or AndroidAuto) , trying...
Are you using profiles? I read that that messes up with the display remembering configs.
Same thing happens to me, my display resets every time I start stop the car. Been thinking on removing profiles, set the dashboard and test, before adding profiles again., but haven't tried it yet...
I used doble sided tape to glue the license plate holder. I did it also on my 2020 mustang, and I removed it before selling it, just with a bit of hot water. No marks at all, no paint removed.
