No difference in my 6 speed transmission, motor, rear end, etc and no differece in my driving from 24 miles and just rolling over 1,000. Goes into dealer for first filter and oil, then put away for winter. Its already stated use common sense. Ive hit 6500 a few times, Over 125 a few times also...

Driving a manual is like learning to ride a bike, it doesn't take a lot of time to get use to. My daughter was 16 when she learned. She is now 54 and every new vehicle a standard. It is actually fun. It was on this forum someone said car thieves will pass by a standard, it made me chuckle.
