Is that the height of your front splitter when you drive around normally? Or do you only take it to the track? I'm not sure I could drive on ANY street in Seattle and not destroy my front end with your setup.
Edit: maybe this is a pic just of when you're exiting your driveway?
I have to say that one of the things I really like about this Charger design is its hatchback. That's something I really wish our Mustangs had. Doesn't look any different closed, but it makes the trunk SOOOO much more useable. I had a Ford Probe back in the day, which is a much smaller car...
Yeah, it's Oxford White, not Wimbledon, but my blue stripes also aren't quite Guardsman blue - more like slightly electric blue. So I'm just considering it a modern evocation with a slightly brighter palette. To be honest, I do love the classic colors, and on the GT350, they're super great...
Keyless locking is one of my only gripes about the design of the car. It takes a really really long time before the sensor area is ready to notice me touching it. If I close the door and touch it as if I were keyless locking my S550, I have to repeat that motion 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, maybe 10 times...
I couldn't figure out the mirror when I was test driving, but there's a discussion in this forum from when the 2024s were just coming out - use the search function - of how to deal with it by moving the mirror far to the left and then up and around the protrusion Familiar Room illustrated in his...
Thanks a bunch! I spent a long time searching for the best color match of stripes to the stock grabber blue calipers. Then once I had the material and shop selected, the installer and I brainstormed a lot about the stripe and pinstripe design. I had to keep reminding myself that less is more...
I would never have selected white planning my decision ahead of time, but I found a screaming deal on a white GT PP with blue Brembos ($41k), and I realized that some matching blue racing stripes and a few carbon fiber add ons with blue pinstripes would turn it from bland white to a distinctive...
Yeah, honestly, they can look cool, but I can't understand how you all do it. With my NYTOP splitter, which isn't hugely long, it's very easy to scrape a bit pulling into driveways or parking garages or on uneven road construction, and I'm on stock PP springs. If I dropped an inch down, I'd...
From a little while back, but here are a few from after I got my full front clear PPF, stripes, splitter and side skirt extension pinstripes, and ceramic coat installed.
This is cool and all, but I question the utility. They don't have push bars on their front, so one assumes they won't be involved in PIT maneuvers to stop the perp. Would the goal just be to keep up and notify others where to intercept and arrest? I guess they're cheaper than a helicopter for...
My 2015 would refuse to engage the trunk latch if I tried to shut the key in the trunk, and would honk. Really great safety feature that was useful many times. Did they really get rid of this safety feature in the updated '24 model year?
