It is at the railyard in Maryland. It's only 40 minutes away from my dealer but it needs to get on a truck. Not sure how backed up the lot is in Jessup.
You should go to the dealer and check it out!
I've heard stories of dealers selling factory orders, hopefully they don't do the same to you. It seems like they're trying to hide it from you (or the person you spoke too simply doesn't know of its arrival)
Also does anyone know if the screens are glass? From the marketing it sounds like they're glass which would not be susceptible to micro scratches from microfiber cloths. If they're plastic then you need to be extra careful when wiping.
Make sure the microfiber's don't accumulate dust on them or else it will scratch the screen when you wipe it. You can counter this by dampening the cloth.
The drive system and infotainment system are two separate entities. You can still drive the car if the screens stop working.
For my Tesla, whenever the screen crashes/freezes, I can still drive the car normally. I just can't see my speed or any other useful information since it's all on the screen.
What railyard? Mine is at Jessup MD and went from 'constructively placed to 'empty' yesterday at 4 am. I believe it's still at the railyard waiting for transport to the dealer.
Is it CSX? If so:
Call 877-744-7279
Options 2-1-3
After prompt, say: Location
After prompt, say: The 4 letter railcar prefix
After prompt, say: The railcar number
After prompt, say: Done
Maybe yours will show up at the dealer randomly. I know that's been happening to a bunch of people who see no movement in the tracker or via Ford Chat.
Yeah, from some research I did it takes about 2-5 days once its unloaded from the railcar to arrive at the dealership. It should be at the dealer hopefully by Friday.
My current ETA is 09/04 - 09/17
