Ford Chat said Precision Vehicle Logistics is transporting my car and gave me a convoy number. I looked them up and it seems like they just do yard management (transporting cars from one lot to another). Not sure if they actually transport across the country or not.

My window sticker says Convoy but the latest update from Ford Chat says it's at New Boston I assume waiting for a train. My dealer says they can't track the car once its shipped soo I'm just going to wait until it shows up one day.

Because I need quiet mode when I come home late at night and Track mode is considerably louder than the normal mode.

Can you quote where it says regular unleaded is recommended? This is taken from the 2024 owner's manual: "For best overall vehicle and engine performance, premium fuel with an octane rating of 91 or higher is recommended."

I believe that's ramp 5M as mine is currently sitting at New Boston on 5M. Unless there are multiple ramps at New Boston.

Spoke with Ford chat and my car is still at Ramp 5M.. hasn't moved in the last 5 days now. I wonder if there's a shortage of conductors or trains.

I'm also pretty new too. I have a Tesla so I'd probably get shit on if I took that to a cars & coffee haha.

Yeah I checked with them earlier today and they said my car was at New Boston as of 08/20. I think once it starts moving on the train they'll probably provide more info (unless it's already been on the train this whole time and the tracker never updated).

Mine is also shipping by rail but the last status on 08/20 was it sitting at New Boston. No updates since then.

So yours was shipped a day before mine and it already arrived. It travelled about 700 miles to get to your dealer. Mine has to travel 500 miles to get to my dealer. Maybe that means mine should be here soon?
