Does it make any sense that the 2019 Bullitt is so much better setup than my 24 Dark Horse?
It has the Magna-Ride suspension, great brakes and a better sound system than the Dark Horse.
While I do like the Dark Horse, if I had to choose between the two, the Bullitt wins. The Dark Horse was...
I am not sure if they will do anything. It seems like hard times have tampered would be buyers.
I know if I was just graduating college now with my Engineering degree (instead of 1982) I would be hard pressed to buy a new car at all. Most folks fresh out of college owe more to student loans that...
I would advise you to keep it as long as possible. My 66 convertible is my overall favorite, but that is because it was the car I grew up with. My Dad gave it and the 73 Grande to me when he had vision issues and could not drive anymore. They still run very well.
But my first, meaning I bought...
For what it is worth, I like my 2019 Bullitt more than my Dark Horse, but that for now might just be time in the driver's seat. But I feel like the Bullitt is more responsive to the wheel than the Dark Horse.
The problem with EV is the misunderstanding of the fact that the Lithium batteries are not really recyclable. Only the steel framework of the batteries are recycled. There is nothing they can do with the spent Lithium. They just drop it in an abandoned mineshaft like nuclear waste.
There is no...
Part of saving the Mustang is also how you understand how to get the best price to move the inventory, that is all Ford and the dealers want to see is moving inventory. There is a lot of profit built into the MSRP......
If you pay 80K for a Dark Horse, you just did not know how to deal with the dealership. I paid $1,000 less than MSRP for mine. And MSRP was nowhere near 80K, it was 72K and change.
Silly me, I never thought the audio was more important than the car performance.
If I want to hear amazing music, I have a audiophile system at home. I don't need that in a car.
But as they say, beauty is in the eyes or ears in this case of the beholder.
That is how I felt with my first Mustang GT , 1983 Mustang GT in Dark Red. It was a fun ride and still is. V8 with a 4 speed still using a carb! When I am back in Arizona, I drive that car around. While it it is not up to current performance, it has many wonderful memories. And it is still fun...
I have never had any issues at all with my Bullitt. Runs like champ with no issues other than the shitty roads in California and all the rocks kicked up by the trucks. I am on my 3rd windshield.
I never even considered a GTD, I love Mustangs but I could never pay that much for one. While I can afford it, I have better things to spend my money on. Funny thing is I seem to like my Bullitt more than the Dark Horse. Maybe it is familiarity or that it is less complicated. Still the Dark...
Well not sure anyone will like this but, if things keep going financially like they have, the Mustang and all its variants will soon disappear. It seem to be the only car Ford makes anymore, pumping the money into SUVs and trucks. Just like all the other Big 3 domestic manufacturers.
Funny how...
