  1. Has anyone concrete news about EUROPE avaiability of S650 ?

You can't leave a cliffhanger like that..... It's worse than an episode of 24...
  2. Has anyone concrete news about EUROPE avaiability of S650 ?

That sounds about right, they'd have had to make fewer changes to make the Euro compliant cars in LHD.
  3. Has anyone concrete news about EUROPE avaiability of S650 ?

I have placed my order in UK, but have no further Info at this point I suspect the RHD cars will be abit later due to re-tooling the line. I'm leaning towards September delivery, my order went in on 1st February.

    That's a good shout.
  5. Has anyone concrete news about EUROPE avaiability of S650 ?

As shallow as this sounds, I'd love to know if you feel there's a noticeable difference in exhaust note on the EU version?
  6. Has anyone concrete news about EUROPE avaiability of S650 ?

Let me have a look and dig out what I did.
  7. Has anyone concrete news about EUROPE avaiability of S650 ?

It was the same with my S550, once I got the actual VIN and build allocation it was relatively easy to track. But news was thin on the ground till that was issued.

I noticed the tyre and brake requirements for EV's was different, which didn't make much sense, surely you just make a standard for all vehicles of that type irrespective of drive train?

I think adding the Euro 7 requirements when they haven't been formalised yet on just cars for Europe would be an expensive and risky call. Especially since implementation doesn't need to be on production cars for 30 months after implementation of the rules. As far as monitoring of sensors is...

I get all that, but it won't affect this first release, so the issues around sensors and other parts of Euro 7 are moot with this model. To be honest I don't see Ford making a Euro 7 Mustang, except maybe as an Eco boost.....

Yep, but won't affect a car you buy now.

No need to worry about Euro 7 it's not been agreed yet and won't be in cars before 2026. Still in the discussion phase.
  14. Has anyone concrete news about EUROPE avaiability of S650 ?

I remember my S550 went a route similar to that, but I'd imagine there might be issues with the car going to the EU prior to UK.
  15. Engine (EU) DH vs GT ?

I think it's not worth focussing on the top end power for differences between the cars, as said above it's the other parts that are the key difference. With that said I would be interested in seeing the dyno curve for each model to see what's being delivered where and when in the rev range.
  16. Has anyone concrete news about EUROPE avaiability of S650 ?

I assume there are some production line changes need to be implemented for the EU car? Especially with the differences in emissions and I assume ECU tune related to that? On top of that the UK cars will probably be part of a wider RHD production? With changes to Emissions and ECU as per EU...

The Euro 7 regulations were watered down a little in December, with implementation dates pushed out to July 2026 for new cars, I suspect this will slip some more as well. There's some discussion about the validity of the new regulations and the additional cost of compliance to small vehicles...
  18. New UK Media Reviews Dark Horse

I don't disagree with you at all, but the Mustang community has always liked to tinker, so I suspect we will see kits and custom tunes etc A lot of the discussion is nugatory anyway, unless you are on track, there are not too many places where you can unleash the full potential of any car with...

There will be a tune/exhaust or other mod to return it to normal, which is what everyone will do.
