I skipped the S550 generation entirely. They looked too European and not aggressive enough on the exterior to me, except the GT350 and GT500. The GT350 was interesting but had/has too many engine issues. I almost bought a GT500 but the dealer blew that deal.
Driving my wife around to run errands today and playing some bass heavy music while she runs into stores. Yeah, there is a MASSIVE difference from the stock sub, LOL.
I finished up the subwoofer install today. My goal here was just to replace the garbage stock sub with something better, do it easily, and not mess with wiring, amp(s), ANC, ESE, etc., yet (if ever).
The bass is definitely punchier and deeper, but this system is still weak and disappointing...
Well, I installed this today and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed. I'm by no means a car audio expert and to be honest, haven't done much at all since the early 2000's. But a few things to note with the RAH Performance adapter/spacer:
1. No instructions. Not a big deal since it is...
I like most American muscle and pony cars. Love my TRX for a daily driver and family hauler. I like some Italian cars, too and came close to buying one instead of the Dark Horse, but other life milestones put that on the back burner.
If I could have one of my old cars back, it would be the...
Thanks! They seem to fit well and not slip, at least in my experience. There are also some velcro and plastic clips that come with them to make it more secure. I just used 1 clip on each mat and it seems great. You could use more clips and/or the velcro if needed.
I bought them on Amazon.
Same here. S550s, S197s, Chargers, Challengers, Camaros, and Vettes are everywhere here. Which is actually cool to me that so many "American" cars are around. There are even WAY MORE C8s here driven by old guys than there are S650s.
HILARIOUS! At anything approaching $200k I'd be driving a used Huracan, not a reskinned GT500. And I LOVE Mustangs and American cars, as shown in my signature.
Not sure but my local dealer said they only get 1 DH allocation per year and still want ADM for a model that's into its 3rd year run. The dealer I ended up buying from had numerous Dark Horses already on the lot and was willing to discount, heavily, even on my Premium.
