Ford AU can just hurry up with specs and pricing... it can't be that hard. lol
I would bet:
Ecoboost - 1 variant - limited colors compared to us and high performance pack minus brembos
$59k+orc
GT - 1 variant with limited colors with high performance pack initially auto only
$75k+orc
Dark Horse...
i wouldnt go by that.
Its horses for courses and the ranger raptor is a new model and i think it was priced based on the surity it would go bananas in AUS but NZ was a much weaker demand.
With the mustang, i think the perception of cost increase could scare a lot of buyers away.
Its not...
IM thinking, pessimistically, that if the ecoboost has no manual option and GT is being offered as auto ONLY in NZ that this will be an issue with manuals, not properly mirrored. Which will be a massive shame.
Thanks for that!
How much was the magnaride? $4k? $10k jump in that list of yours with just 3 options, albeit decent ones.
I havent decided if manual or auto yet, depends on the gearing but i def want magnaride.
out of interest what are the shifting point differences between 3.55 and 3.73?
7000rpm second and 3rd gear? Anyone know?
It will def bring the 2nd gear under the 100km/h zone which hurt the MT lads, but for driving, if 3rd gear sits nearer 140 than 180, thats personally a bit more fun.
but i...
Pricing for GT just dropped in NZ.
Ecoboost dropped entirely - bloody wow...
GT - $90k NZ (8k increase)
Dark Horse $116k NZ.
Think that solidifies my expectation of $80k Aussie...
Which is ok if it comes with performance pack and magnaride lol...
Why offer an opinion? It does sound like you care.
For the street topping out at mid 170s in 3rd is one of the reasons i wouldn't go MT82 again.
If they did 3.73 i would consider going manual absolutely.
Queensland raceway is pretty short straights anyway, you might touch 4th on the straight...
