I think it's especially the prominent plastic trim, which can also be found on other manufacturers cars (e.g. BMW), that makes it kind of common. Perhaps just too fashionable for my taste. It doesn't help, everyone has to find the right one for themselves. Others find the Mustang attractive...

The Recaros were supposed to come with heating and cooling for the S650? Was that canceled? For me, the Recaros are the only alternative, the normal stools are no good, no matter how many gimmicks they offer.

That would be the end of the next legendary vehicle. The Corvette lost its iconic design thereby and became the poor man's mid engine super sports car. Not to mention that mid engine makes no sense with e-drive. Or does anyone really believe that there will be another new development like this...

This happens especially when the engineer has not been in a field job and done hands-on work. In extreme cases, we called such engineers best-paid apprentices. I had to deal with this in an industrial environment during my time as a field technician before becoming an engineer myself.

Let's face it, such problems are always down to the businessmen and managers who don't listen to the engineers they later blame.
