I have to begrudgingly admit that I am impressed Ford managed to keep the rear hidden. I wonder if they’ve allowed embargoed images to go to the press. If they have, it’ll be hard to keep the genie in the bottle until the reveal.
LOTS of minor adjustments. Nothing that will change anyone's mind about it, but they mean a lot to me, in terms of accuracy. I keep using these distractions to avoid redoing the hood.
Thanks, Jem.
I aim for accuracy over fancy. I don't know if you viewed my walkaround animation, but I thought I'd share an overlay of my S550 orthographic reference. If it still sits on the S550, where is it too tall or too flat? I know all too well that being just a little wrong here and there...
I had to do an outdoors environment shot. I also wanted to showcase the difference between a regular lens and a zoom lens. I know Ace has schooled the forum before.
Edit: I haven' t done one in black yet.
Another front shot for no reason in particular. I did more accurately reproportion the headlights.
I'n still planning to take another crack at the hood. There really isnt much to go on, and may look worse.
The front hood line is photoshopped and I neglected to add the side line. I will revamp the hood next. I have no real information, though so it's all guesswork, like the inside of the headlights.
I'm glad I had an influence on your leisure pursuits.
I am rethinking my thinking. The rest of the design language is consistent with the "base version" I am working on. I am checking to see if everything else lines up. I am also rethinking my hastily fashioned hood scoop. There seems to be a rear bumpout there.
What about the ghostly GT leak? It has them here.
Think I'm gonna model this front end, too.
Edit: I warped this image to compensate for the photo's parallax of the flat surface of the printed image. The front wheel was comically small.
Keep in mind I have no info on the side angle or the top, so the roundness vs flatness of the front clip should be taken with a grain of salt. IF correct, the difference is striking.
Edit: I warped the front end a little to make it match the perspective better. I also moved the scoop back...
