  1. "Park brake not applied" message on dash

Mine doesn't go away if I open the door, the message will remain there for about a minute and then just assume I want to keep it on. The parking brake message, in my experience, will keep blinking until you reset the park brake yourself.
  2. "Park brake not applied" message on dash

Mine does this if I pull the handbrake too quickly before coming to a complete stop or if I open the door before it fully engages. I think the computer briefly loses track of the present state of the brake and panics. Since it's likely unsure whether it's engaged or not, it assumes it's not and...
  3. Used DH HP manuals are scarce?

They'll be hard to find. Dealers don't even spec them this way, most HP cars I see listed are automatics. If you find one, it probably started life as a custom order.
  4. Do I have the "Brembo" brakes??

Just as a future reference, if you have silver brake calipers, you do not have the upgraded Brembo brake package and don't need to make an order for parts that include the Brembos.
  5. Impact of the Novelis Plant Fire on Ford Mustang Production

There is no way we are this bored...
  6. One Year Update - 19,340 Miles - It’s Still Great!

I'm averaging about 18 MPG on a very good, tame week. Otherwise I'm getting around 15 and 240 to a tank, maximum. My commute is mostly highway, so that should tell you something. I could do 20, but I like loud sounds and big numbers too much...
  7. I must not be driving fast enough . . . .

I'm guessing you've got the 10 speed with the 3.15 differential. 26.2 is very impressive. You can more or less maintain that number and still have fun with it with this setup though, so feel free to (if you're not already) go exactly the speed limit and never put the pedal into the floor. 😉
  8. Low battery warnings and things shutting off (2024 Eco-Boost)

You have a pre-production car? That's quite interesting. If it's not too much to ask, could you DM me the last 8 characters of your VIN?
  9. Ford Performance Calibration Tune now available for 2025 2.3L EcoBoost engine

Yup, that's my point. I was primarily responding to the part of, "Why is this not standard?"
  10. Ford Performance Calibration Tune now available for 2025 2.3L EcoBoost engine

I imagine it's to sell to a wider audience who doesn't understand different octane ratings, or believes anything higher than 87 is just a "ploy by BIG OIL(tm)" to get you to spend more money. The Mustang as a whole, regardless of trim or engine, should really be running on 93 all the time, but...
  11. I will NOT be ordering a SC DH

You can. It's a $2,000 option independent of the track package.
  12. Dark Horse SC Build & Price is LIVE

The fact that Ford presumably bumped up the price because people were paying this number for GT500s, including the markup, and dealers are still adding markups is beyond comprehension. There are some users here who are getting SCs for MSRP, while I don't know their circumstances it may be worth...
  13. I will NOT be ordering a SC DH

This seems to be a common theme. The CFTP GT500 was delayed (IIRC), the Mach 1 HP was delayed, the Dark Horse HP was delayed, and now the SC TP is delayed. And yet in every single instance, there were a few made for "VIP" clients. Not particularly surprised, I can't say...
  14. Think twice about tracking your Whipple

Well, for starters, they're using an entirely different motor to the standard Dark Horse...
  15. 2026 California Special GT with FX?

Uh, you definitely got the wrong badge. The FX package replaced the California Special.
  16. 2026 Mustang Order & Pricing Guides [Updated]

I keep coming back here, because there is one thing I can't shake, for some reason. I'm still confused at the limited color selection for the SC. It did leak twice in the last few days leading up to the reveal, and the one Red Bull had that Max Verstappen drove in that video was either Code...
  17. Dark Horse SC Build & Price is LIVE

Someone else on the forum put it best - for the first two years of the S550 GT500's existence, dealers were marking up the cars to the point they costed about this much. Even now, used examples aren't far off this number. Ford has long since realized someone is going to pay that number, and...
  18. Ford Announces Nationwide Employee Pricing For All To Celebrate America's 250th Anniversary

Breaking news: Company decides to entice you to buy more of their stuff during a holiday period!
  19. S650 Mid Cycle Refresh

If they're running something, it's probably not terribly obvious. You'd need to know what to look for. I will say though, I've seen a lot of stuff driving around lately. I'm genuinely surprised we haven't seen any photos of anything in the news yet. Ford must have either figured out who was...
