Rebelman, out of curiosity, how long did you have to wait for your DH? I have had mine (auto, no handling pack) on order since the 1st of September last year (through a dealer allocation)...still don't have a build date.
A real beauty! Just curious, when did you put in your order for the DH. I had ordered mine (via dealer allocation) back in early September ‘23 and still don’t have a build date. Enjoy!!
Paulie, I have one question…since NJ is now the only state to not allow self serve at the gas pump…do you stand outside and watch those gas pump jockeys while they fill up your baby… I know I’d be worried about them damaging/scratching the fuel door and surrounding area? And if I recall (on my...
Personally, I think the stock wheels are the best wheels I've ever seen on a Stang. I would simply stick with them. In fact, I would prefer a little bit more gloss to them...but they're really sharp looking, IMOP.
Understood, but perhaps Ford could acknowledge this problem and have a cap, plug, patch etc., (that simply snaps/glues in ) made that could be sent to dealers who could then install them. Problem solved.
I agree…an 1LT C8 Corvette trim will only cost around $72K (with a few options) and it will do “circles” (quarter mile in the 11’s) around the DH…only thing is that the C8 (even with the performance exhaust) can’t match those DH “thundering hooves.”😄
Tankdelly, as roadpilot said: "Don't hold your breath!" Mine was ordered through a dealer allocation on 1 Sep 23...and as of today it's still in the "Unscheduled- Clean" catagory...I'll be lucky if I get mine in August myself.
Will the Front Rock Guards cover up those gapping holes in the fender liner behind the front tires? Heard that a lot of sand, gravel, rocks, etc., get kicked up into there.
That’s neat…but I think it protrudes a little too much and gives more of “mud guard” look…I guess it could be trimmed a bit closer to the fender. And the hole would still be covered.
It’s too bad that Ford can’t simply acknowledge/address this situation and tell us that the holes serve a purpose and what that purpose is AND tell us that if the rocker panel fills up with gravel, stones, etc., that you can take it to your dealer and have them clean them out even if your...
I'vd ordered the base DH with the more "subdued" spoiler. I think the HP spoiler is a bit "too much" and kind of lends itself to the "ricer" look...but, to each his own. Everyone has their preference. I do like the HP front splitter...
And unfortunately, Mustangs like Camaros, cost more to insure. When I bought my '94 Vette, my insurance $400 less every six months than a '94 Camaro Z28...why? Because the Camaro was involved in more accidents, stolen more, driven by a younger crowd and not garaged as much as the Vette. The...
If you have the the 600A package (standard) on Dark Horse...you will NOT have the puddle lights (Dark Horse Emblem shining on the ground beside your door (eminating from your side mirror). You must opt for the $5K optional 700A package to get them...also includes the "welcome lights," Homelink...
While you're under the vehicle, be sure the dealer installed the rubber "strakes" (air deflectors attached to the frame behind your front wheels)...you should be able to seem them...some dealers have been neglecting to install them.
I agree with you...I ordered mine with the 6000A trim, no Recaros(tried them in a DH on a showroom floor and found them uncomfortable), auto, and NO handling pack.
