I hope it looks good, the problem is most sedans appear to be dying off as SUVs take over everything. If Ford does it right, this may be a nice option for a muscle car with 4 doors.
Testosterone is a helluva drug, it takes a lot of will just to take a deep breath and engage the fore-brain. The inside voice going: "ignore them" or "not worth it", etc. There are so many jokers out there it's a wonder some of these people can drive at all, even badly.
The Challenger is a classic muscle car, big body and all, but the rear visibility, and that of the Camaro are problematic; visibility is a nice thing to have. I loved my 2010 R/T, but I love my '24 GT more; it's a sleeker look, a more solid handler in wind and rain, a sweet but not so muscle...
Custom mode, apparently not so custom. Hopefully one of those over the air updates may change that. I suppose the re-set is probably to prevent auto-stop/start override and such; probably an emissions violation, thus poisoning the whole customization approach in order to avoid a violation.
Good on you OP for showing some restraint; deep breaths and a stiff drink are in order tonight. Hopefully the offending driver will have learned something, so there's that.
Yikes, that is not a thing to expect. Ford: "Mirror mount glue is Job 1". I would not DIY unless it's a massive inconvenience to get to the dealership.
I'm not advocating drag racing from a stop light, just a healthy nudge once in a while when conditions are safe, ie no traffic, no rain, daytime, and no burnouts, even a 40-70 (or more speed limit permitting of course) on a highway on weekend mornings... Just a little of that 486hp, so you know...
Well the Charger EV might not be appealing, but there is a turbo V6 "six-pack" in the works, so we'll see how the reviews go, but that trim may be an option for muscle car enthusiasts, even without the Hemi.
How indeed. Well, so long as there are no police around, a healthy run from a stop is a bit of fun, not to mention a clear shot on a highway on-ramp. Otherwise, as has been stated above, the price outweighs the speed, ticket/citation-wise. Most sports cars now have so much power that it's...
Hate to see it. I was t-boned when I had my Challenger, never quite drove the same after, and it picked up a rear diff whine. Good luck with the repair.
My drives across Florida from east coast to west can net me around 26mpg, but there's a bit of city driving through Tampa/St. Pete area and some highway at 70+ mph. Driving on the country roads is north of 28mpg.
Normally I'm at around 22mpg with suburban and city driving. Idling kills mpg as...
I don't want to know the factory costs of AE (ignorance is bliss), as I'm sure all those options are mostly profit; no surprise there. I would say that given my reluctance to modify my car, the AE is an acceptable price, same with the nite pony given the costs of paint or wrap. I would agree...
Yup, lane keep assist; it can be disabled on left side of steering wheel. It's a pain, just give the wheel a wiggle and it goes away. I've had it so that the "system" got so displeased with me that the car did a quick emergency brake, but now that I know what the program wants I just do the...
Physics favors the Vette; lighter weight, larger rear tires, better rear bias. 0-60 reviews show the C7 Stingray in the 3.9 second range versus the 4.3 of the S650 Mustang.
