Thanks Adam. That was my plan. The Ryobi I have now works, but obviously nowhere near the league of a Ego blower. I was just going to wait for the right deal. Maybe EOFY like you say 👍
I bought a bottle but I just have not really used it that much to be honest. Invisible glass works so well that I haven't been motivated to try Traceless. It's too expensive to waste, so I really should dive into it a bit more.
This is one area in which I do need to get a better tool. I currently have this:
I dont think I'll get a proper nozzle for that one.
I should just get a EGO blower at some point. Which model is the one to pick these days @DFB5.0 ?
I think from memory the best choice in the EGO range was the...
I'm also at 1200km and still getting a bit of the smell. Its not as bad as it once was, but its still there.
I'm eagerly awaiting the "awakening" of the pops and crackles. Mine is not doing that yet. Sounds like I need to drive it harder as well.
To quote @5.0ALM from the other Aussie thread about this:
https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/threads/patching-fender-holes-on-s650-this-will-be-a-real-issue-for-australian-owners.163389/post-3320062

For those that want glue, get yourself the DIYvan one. Easy. Like I said, it's good to have alternatives.
The small amount of water that can get past that is no issue in my mind. I just want to keep sand, rocks and debris out, and I like the bolt on idea. OEM look. There are now cars leaving...
Oh I never doubted it will work. Many have used it with great success. I just prefer the more OEM look of a bolt on cover, rather than a glued on one. Its a good thing to have choice. Choose your poison.
Just sharing this for any others that are interested. I started talking to @PonyKing who developed an alternative to the DIYvan fender hole covers. He is from Germany but does ship to Australia for +- $150 AUD.
What kept me from buying the DIYvan kit was that I wasn't convinced about using the...
@5.0ALM , I finally got the service report. They had mistyped my phone number on their system so I wasnt getting the SMS'ed link to the electronic document. Sorted now. Not sure if this tells you what you want to know?
I've just noticed something. I've seen @DFB5.0 's pictures of his GT dash (Cobra one in this photo):
Here is the Cobra one from my DH:
Then the others:
The DH ones go to 300km/h, whereas the GT one goes to 270km/h. Not sure if this is common knowledge, but its a difference that I...
I haven't forgotten about this Adam. Still waiting for the electronic paperwork to be sent to me. They didnt give me any physical paperwork at the time. Spoke to them last Friday and they said it will be emailed to me once they process everything on their end. I'll follow up again this coming...
My Dark Horse seems to be chewing up my MaxShine wheel brush. These have lasted me so long, until I got the DH. I think that +-20mm clearance between the wheel and the rotor is just rough on brushes. I've been wondering if a Carpro flat brush could last better. Need to do some more reading. I...
I do LOVE my stock Dark Horse wheels. If I ever change them, it would be to go wider. I just love a wide stance. Probably do a 275 in the front and a 305 in the rear if I can. But this is low on my priority list. Loving the car just like it is at the moment.
They didn't change the oil. My car...
