I do not know how they are made, but one week ago I was at the track attack with recaros and these are 100% better for me as tracking this car won't happen,
1. Extremely happy
2. No regrets, would not even considered the GT
3. Use it 100% as "grocery getter" can not use in winter here in South Dakota
4. Cooled seats are awesome
I would not get recaro seats
The 700A is absolutely great. Ask any questions specific you come up with.
The braking on the car is still really amazing, have not to this point see any reduction. I will take tread measurements tomorrow, I will bet they are still like 7/32" plus at the lowest spot.
I was at the track attack last week and did some 4600 rpm "launch mode" with the Michelin 4s tires and the car "chattered" or bounced a bit, but really fun using their cars.
That type of driving is what the "Track Attack" was for, beat on those FPRS cars. My ride is driven like and by "an old man" my car has not ever seen 3,500 RPM's under my watch.
If the car is aligned, camber close to zero, and you keep them rotated, all tires will outlast the milage rating. Been doing this as a profession most of my adult life and always get the 60k 70k on car and crossover tires. It is simple geometry. Yes, when suspension wears out and not serviced...
Mine was re-painted in the right rear quarter panel, BFD, blue ember and the car a year later is still great. Some get repaired/ resprayed at the factory. Nothing in purchasing a new car claims "the car only gets painted once" be happy with the entire car as the entire car is what was...
I just had the track attack with a guy that had a loaded '24 GT he traded plus 30k for his DH. GT had 5k miles on it. That story I got first hand on Friday.
In my DH it is almost always 13.5 to 13.7. Really wish it would be more
gas mileage, 14.7:1 is the goal, 13.5 to 13.7 unless crazy driving AFR is there 90% of the time. If I could I would lean it out a bit.
Have issues with the adaptive tables, for quite a while. When I was at Ford we were always redoing the adaptives. In contrary, many auto manufactures have been using adaptive tables for at least decades, infrequently needing to get reset unless services on the power train were done. I do not...
