One penny under one thousand dollars at Saleen. Seems an addiction of little fans, like they use for car amplifier boxes, would be a great idea. The dash does get extremely hot. Which makes me wonder how long the S650s will hold up. I left my phone in the sun once and the thing went blank. It...
Right now, at least per Saleen's .com, they are offered stage 1 Whipple's for $8,999,99. I do believe tunes are not available for Stage 2+ anyway. But they're a whole lotta extra weight and will cause the car to dive in cornering.
Did the at least offer free K-Y Jelly? If they Included Renegade alloy hub half shafts, McLoud RST clutch, and steeda stop the hop street kit it may be a bargain.
Saleen has a cover which surrounds top and sides of the infotainment and helps guard them from the blazing hot sun đ. Maybe they're available. If not they'd definitely make a mint off of them.
Not sure. Probably Steeda. It's a big name around here. The C&L and Pypes are great prices. But I'd hate to see someone get them then find they're too loud. The Mach 1 is not as loud. S550s don't seem to be as loud.
X-pipes tend to be raspy, and H-pipes deeper. My last Mustang has regular exhaust. The new owner put a H-pipe. He said it sounds great. He's not concerned about too loud since he's on the outskirts of the big city. Since it's Whippled it must get loud. All of my families present Mustangs are...
I bought three of them. For my daughter's DH, her grandpa's Mach 1, and my DH Premium. Also got the better clamps. Roush is $250. My mechanic charged only $200 to do all three cars. I'm debating about having my wife's Mach 1 done. She likes a quieter car. But will be getting a ProCharger soon.
Steeda, LMR, and I've heard Beefcake is also tops. Steeda has great products. I have Steeda's H-Pipe, Stop the Hop Street, and Tri-Ax short shifter street in two Dark Horses, and H-Pipe in a Mach 1 along with Steedas billet aluminum blue anodized shifter ball. Received the products promptly.
That Oxford white sure looks good. Love the have one with the Nite Pony Package. Beats the heck out of me why they put a black roof on it. Picked up a 23 Mach 1 in Oxford White for Mama (Little Wifey) last week. It looks great.
Want quiet and performance, I mean of the rocketship kind? Saleen GTX. They may not hear you, but when you open it up it sounds like a F-16. Quiet like a Ninja, and explosive as thermonuclear device. 795 little horses.
For an easy going drive just to feel good or commute, especially in bumper to bumper and A10 coupled with a 3.15 is perfect. Sluggish in bumper to bumper? You don't need a Balls to the Wall race car for this. I live in the outskirts, somewhat, of a big city and commute with a 700a 3.75 and love...
Plus a Whippled Mustang with any combination of transmission and axle is going to rip from the get to, and a race stop the hop kit would be needed anyway. Got stop sometime too, and Brembos will go that.
