I ordered mine with the car, too. I used my points for a sunshade and the trunk all weather mat that matches the floor mats. I think I spent about $50 on the whole package. Agree it's worth it!
My "favorite" button is set to activate the track exhaust mode. Been running it pretty much non-stop since I got the car. I just wish I could start the engine in track mode.
Exhaust mode shouldn't affect your break in period. Hell, I think most of my break-in was in "Sport " mode, but I...
Just curious to everyone who thinks the sky is falling...what do you think people who aren't on these forums do when they need warranty work done? If you ask me it was a waste of money for Ford to have someone on all these forums. There are other more effective electronic and non electronic...
Sorry to hear that. I'm gonna hang on to mine. The car is everything I wanted it to be. That sound doesn't seem like anything that would cause an issue short or long term, and I'm willing to take the risk and continue my ownership experience. If I ever develop a problem as a result of the noise...
Dude. I wrote and made the post. I decided who it was for and...news flash...it wasn't for you. I hadn't even read your comment when I posted it because... it's not about you! It was for the OP. Get off your high horse,.man. It's Christmas! And hey, all that aside I hope you have a blessed...
My post wasn't for you. It was for the OP. Maybe, just maybe the whole world doesn't revolve around you. I don't know you. You're right. And I don't care to since you came off like a pretentious jerk.
You need to go to Mustang Unleashed at FPRS in Charlotte to learn how much traction control actually does for you. I never knew how much traction control helped until we did exercises with it both on and off. In everyday driving it makes a difference for sure to just leave it on. Of course it's...
I am not a yellow or lime green fan by any stretch, but this color could look really good as a RTR Spec 2. Imagine it with the suspension lowering kit, RTR body kit, RTR wheels, and the graphics with the duck bill spoiler. Give it an angle kit and some negative camber and you've got a eye...
...and this video illustrates your point!

For those of you that hypothesize that the manual will eventually go away....

I'm not sure who @RaceRedder is talking to, but I have never had a need to prove anything to anyone much less my ability to drive a manual. For most Americans with performance cars it's about feeling more connected to the car and controlling it the way you want to. It's about operating the...
Have they made any indication that the sound is causing damage, or is it just a sound with no root cause? Mine is associated with cold idle speed in that it goes away dropping from 900 to 750. Maybe something on the intake? I just can't believe that the sound would ever cause a problem, but of...
I have a similar sound usually once idle down occurs to around 900 RPM. Like the OP it's gone after 30-60 seconds. I haven't thought much about it being an issue otherwise. I have no BBQ tick and the engine is smooth and quiet otherwise. I'll be watching this thread. Let us know what you find...
