There were notes in the original release informatin that gave specific reference to a Mach 1 option, and nothing. I'm not saying there isn't an upgrade from a GT, and I'm well aware of the Dark Horse but what was mentioned, albeit not in detail, wasn't delivered.
There is a local collector in my area that has the one and only Sheleen. it is a GT500 that went to Saleen, and then the lawyers got wind of it,. The conversion was stopped in it's tracks, but was delivered with the Saleen upgrades that had been applied to cat.

Ford needs to find a good use for the platform since the Explorer and Aviator launches have been absolute failures. the only thing they're probably sold off that platform are police interceptors, and I haven't seen any of those around either.
