To me, the Shelby’s are special cars..the DH not so much. I’m not just hating on the car either. I think the DH looks great and should bring a ton of joy to the future owners, but it just isn’t the same as a Shelby imo. The DH is a dressed up Mustang GT at the end of the day. I mean the thing...
this might be the dumbest thing that I’ve seen on this site yet.
firstly, your experience with a DH is..what? Then a Mach 1 and a GT are better than a 350? 😂😂😂 OKkkk
The majority of new vehicles sit outside for weeks prior to being sold. At least at the plant they’re in a clean, paved, relatively secure location. You should see some of the trucking yards these will sit in. Also, does one realize that dealer inventory sits outside (for the most part)?? Lol
Is anyone else having the order tracker still not being updated? I've confirmed several time with Ford chat & the dealer that my car has been scheduled for production. The tracker has never showed the production date.
If you're sticking with the grey seats (presumably to not have black in the AZ sun), I would stick with the blue personally. I don't think the yellow would look as good with those rims nor that interior color.. just my two cents!
You cannot go wrong with grabber blue on a mustang IMO, but yellow is one of my favorites (and what I had ordered). Also, that rendering is not accurate at all. The photos below represents the color 100x better.
I would almost have to put white stripes on, if I went with the grabber blue. 😍
Also, I would like to add that there are no dealers (that I'm aware of) who have offered a serious discount on Camaro orders. There is also no easy way of gaining access to something like X-plan. So in reality, the pricing delta is much greater than what it seems at first glance.
The recent...
Agreed. If I'm already spending xx amount of dollars on a custom ordered car, I'm definitely not going to pinch pennies where you see it most (the INTERIOR). I also had the base sound systems in some of my previous cars (which were also custom ordered FWIW) and was one the regrets I had. If...
The interior certainly looks like a "bargain". Look at the dash - nothing but injected plastic. Looked like the average rental car to me, and that was not seeing it in person. Having said that, $40k doesn't get you much at all these days... so something that seemingly looks ok, with a 5.0, is...
The short answer is that the trackers are often inaccurate. This is nothing specific to Ford nor the Mustang, and can be found with other manufacturers as well.
It is one of those things that is great when it actually worse, but I feel it also creates a deeper disappointment when it doesn't.
It isn't a bad principle to have, but some people fall into the trap of thinking that paying off their debt is always the best move. That isn't always the case.
I'll use myself as an example. I had refinanced the mortgage when the market was rock bottom, so near a 2% rate. I can make over...
I wouldn't want to purchase any used vehicle currently at FMV. Even at FMV most are still way overvalued IMO. It is uncharted waters as to what the used market will or will not do. It also changes the game a bit when we are looking at a newly released model (as we have with the MY24 Mustang)...
Its a marketing technique that has been around forever. You build hype around a product. You sell not only that product, but also products associated with it. The products sell largely because the consumer is buying into the lifestyle. The DH is the centerpiece and Ford doesn't really need to...
