@Petes24Gt did they tell you if the part was faulty or just noisy? Like @yeti.5oh I do have a very similar "chirp" at idle on warm up. Just wanting to know if I need to bark up this tree now or wait until closer to warranty expiration to get it fixed. Thanks in advance!
I've heard that touching the positive and negative cables together (once disconnected from the battery of course) also helps clear the memory and fully discharge the system.
Y'all are gonna think I'm crazy. It was raining when I took delivery of my GT, so I literally drove it onto the trailer and went home without so much as a test drive. I did visually inspect the car and was satisfied that the body panels were all properly aligned and the paint was well sprayed...
If you must clean your engine, use Valvoline Restore and Protect for your next oil change. According to a few sources online (Motor Oil Geek and Rich "Ford boss") this is the best oil on the market. Meets Ford spec, too. I run Motorcraft full synthetic, but I have Valvoline R&P in the wife's...
So I actually did finally see one in person. Definitely more maroon than anything else. In certain angles under direct sunlight there is a subtle "pinkness" to it that is really best described as its namesake, magenta (looks just like the lines on an aviation sectional). Definitely not hating...
Lots of naysayers here regarding potential price vs HP gains. Apparently I am the only person excited to be able to join the over 500 HP club without turning a bolt (it's just bragging rights, let's be honest). We don't have all the details about this tune yet or the cost. Might not be worth it...
Just a follow up...I installed the Anchor Room PPF today and it really is as easy as the video. Take your time, and invest in a heat gun. The heat gun made short work of the more difficult areas to get to stick. Also, make sure you spray the top of the film liberally with the Slip. It makes the...
Sad that so many tracks have closed down. Still, shouldn't street race. I guess if you gotta race go find a quiet remote straight road in the country and let her rip. And leave the Mrs at home or somewhere she can't get hurt. So sad.
Got the shipment from Anchor Room today. Came very well boxed and everything is as you see. The microfiber towel is even pre-washed and sealed. Very nice product so far from my initial inspection. More to come when I actually do the install.
I contacted Anchor Room and they immediately responded. The thickness of their PPF is 6 mil so it is a little thinner than the 3M @RLE55 mentioned. However, the installation looks pretty straight forward after watching their video and anything is better than the rock chips I have already...

Anybody ever try these? Are they difficult to install or remove?
I love seeing the younger generation (Millennials and Gen Z) well represented here. That's who will keep Mustang alive and going another 60 years when the rest of us are gone.
I ordered mine with the car, too. I used my points for a sunshade and the trunk all weather mat that matches the floor mats. I think I spent about $50 on the whole package. Agree it's worth it!
