  1. Cool Daily Random S650 Mustang Pics -- Post Yours! 📸

Spent a few hours or so cleaning and clay barring the Mustang this weekend. Next up will be polishing and waxing.
  2. Any Way to Individually Select Suspension, Steering, Engine, Exhaust Modes?

Steering feel can be changed on its own with a button on the steering wheel. Exhaust can be changed from a menu on the infotainment screen. I just use the Mode button on the steering wheel to Sport since I like the changes to the exhaust, steering feel, and transmission shifting.
  3. Steeda Labor Day Sale - Act Now (Savings Up To 25% Off)

Order placed for convertible jacking rails. :)
  4. Using 2X4 instead of jacking rails

Thanks! I saw that and will buy those this weekend. They remind me of the subframe connectors I had on my '87 Camaro, except I had them stitch-welded in.
  5. Using 2X4 instead of jacking rails

SVE's jacking pads don't fit convertibles but Steeda has jacking rails that fit them. The area next to the rocker panel that the rails sit in is too narrow for a 2X4. I figured I'd take another look last night.
  6. Using 2X4 instead of jacking rails

I don't think the SVE jackpads fit the convertible. OLM still has about 20% and I didn't reset it after the 1k mile oil change, so it's still good. We bought it and plan on keeping it for a long time.
  7. New rims (or not)

The offset should be molded in the inner barrel of the wheel, along with the wheel size.
  8. Using 2X4 instead of jacking rails

Yes for a standard pine 2X4, not a chance with an oak 2X4. It is quite solid, weighs a lot more than pine. I've used it on other cars, mostly our minivans, for several years or so.
  9. Using 2X4 instead of jacking rails

No, can't use ramps to rotate the tires.
  10. Using 2X4 instead of jacking rails

I'll have to take another look. My wife's car is just over 9k miles, so I'm preparing for the 10k mile oil change and tire rotation. For the 1k mile oil change, I just jacked up the front end by placing the 2X4 across the crossmember rail and placed jackstands underneath somewhere so I could...
  11. Using 2X4 instead of jacking rails

I thought I read about some people using a 2X4 under the rocker panel to jack up each side of the car instead of installing jacking rails, but I can't find the posts. Would this work with a convertible? I've done this with other cars as I have a nice oak 2X4 that is very solid.
  12. Order a 26?

One thing to keep in mind is that the staggered wheels, such as those that come with the PP, come with summer tires instead of all-season tires. My wife upgraded the wheels when she ordered her Mustang to the premium polished wheels but they're still 19X9 wheels with 255 tires all around since...
  13. Can the S650 10R80 be tuned to skip more gears?

  14. Your S650 and Other Toys — Let’s See Pictures!

Besides my wife's Mustang, we just have my GTO, although 3 of our kids have cars too so I get to work on those as well. :) I also lift weights at home, walk a lot, cut down trees occasionally, and do a lot of work around the house.
  15. Car and Driver isn't a fan of the RTR Mustang

These "reviewers" are getting paid to prop up those tires. I've never heard of real-world experiences of chinesium tires doing well compared to good name-brand tires. I'd be tempted to look at Tire Rack's rankings if they've tested any of them...
